Oh no, this already sounds like the FI equivalent of this thread, building a na monster. How did you happen to have a few GT35s laying around? What about a 350Z? You know you'll need one of those too, right? Is the goal 1200+hp or 9s? Just curious, have you ever driven anything with over 100whp? What is your budget?

ship your car to us, we are all about drag racing and can build you whatever you want. we have some of the fastest times recorded on the stock 6 speed on the boards. we are going to hopefully improve those a lot here soon.

pm me for more details....

not sure if the op knows what to expect as a result of this.
but lets give time to the OP timeto explain himself...
i belive he is looking for somethign like this

^^^
i guess he can contact them, but all the other suggestions(forged, sound performance, mrc, gtm, forged, performance F, injected) are capable of building the OP a bad *** high whp setup. Still the OP needs to be clear on his budget cause it wont be cheap

my goal is not to build a monster just a solid street tire car that can beat up on 5.0's and supras. i have owned a NSX before, and ive driven a couple of supercharged Mustangs low 11's. mabey i will have to add teach me how to drive a 1200hp carto my list.

JUST FYI, with all the supporting mods, your looking at a $80,000+ build most likely. And a 1200hp car is not streetable at 1200hp, just so you know. a 500hp street level with the capabilities of doing 1200hp is possible. To go 9's, depends on what the driver does with it,but your looking at another several thousand in proper safety equipment.

Did you say "street tires"? I hope you are talking about some 325/50/15 ET Streets. Even those are going to have a hard time hooking up with 1200rwhp.

I know this. You said they are in the 8s with "beefed up" 6speed. I was just pointed out that they are stock.

To the OP.....it seems you are not clear on what you are really looking for. If am correct you have mentioned wanting a 9 sec Z with 1200 whp; to be able to beat Mustangs etc; and for this to be a streetable set-up .

Please do not be offended but do you have ANY idea what kind of power you're talking about?? That kind of set-up would be very extreme for the street. Traction more so than horsepower becomes an issue.

The entire drivetrain (ie axles/a-arms etc) & suspension would need to beefed up big time to effectively handle the power. Even chassis flex would become an issue. There are just alot of things that will have to be addressed in order to have the car handle correctly. You are talking serious $$$. I belive someone quoted $80K, and that sounds about right.

Is it worth it??? IMO not really. To me; for the money anything beyond 600 whp is a waste on the street. I would suggest you do more research to get a feel for different levels of power. Try finding a few people with different set-ups and get a ride. It will give you a better idea what these power levels feel like and how they affect the car. Good luck!!

Although your grammar and syntax remind me of another member, modified350z, I don't think that by itself is an indicator of your ability to field the resources, or waste it on a 350Z, just so you can "beat up on 5.0's and supras". However, I also don't see the knowledge or comprehension here necessary to pull this off. Do you understand that 1200hp and street-driven do not go together, and it's not a matter of just learning how to drive? One would think that after driving 11s Mustangs and owning an NSX you would have some general automotive aptitude. And saying stuff like "whatever could be done to a supra can be done to a 350z, even better", pulls the BS flag a little bit higher up the pole.
