custom belts will always be a hassle.
at this point, just get it tuned and running. its easy to get caught up in numbers internet racing. if you really wanted high HP, you woulda went with a turbo anyhow.
will a potential difference of 50 hp make you hate the car? After a month at any power level, it will feel slow. Heck, i dont even notice the blower noise anymore and am shocked when people tell me how loud it is.

Just have them put your car back together and extend your research elsewhere, I don't think anyone here can ask you to be the guinea pig any longer.

Wow, 2 days of this thread, and I'm finally here and haven't gotten much work done. lol. This has been a long haul for you. I hope that it works out. I know the frustration that anyone goes through with not getting things done fast enough, and this has taken it's toll in time.
Modding is a neverending game, and an expensive hobby. Whether you keep the Z or not, you will continue to spend on this or on something else. I would like to see this project end with a great conclusion and would like to see you reach a point that you're satisfied with it. Afterall, it's all part of the fun and success...........
-btw, I don't have a G/Z, but was considering this Si-Trim setup for my 6-speed 03 Maxima, when the 3.5 timing chain cover is completed and in production. You've been waiting 3 or so months, I've been waiting over 3 years for a blower. I'm too scared to be a guinea pig since this IS my DD. Best of luck to you and I'll be lurking to see your progress.

All of the geomitry must be worked out to order the proper belt. There for all the new pulleys can be designed and fabricated. All that should be going on now is waiting for the belt. The co making the belt knows what the lead time is, and that info is just a phone call away.

I thought the geometry was worked out a long long time ago when the decided they really needed a belt that was in between two other sizes? I mean, how else can a custom belt be ordered without knowing how long it should be?

They already knew the tooth angle and size , it just a matter of figuring out the length . Probably with a string would be good enough
