Umm no, most supras that are fully built and drag prepped are shifting at 8500RPM. Sure if you're spinning the tires you might see an occassional 9000+RPM.. Our supras including our drag supra is shifting at 8500RPM, not 10000

Our G35 is running at 8500RPM without problems and with a turbo that's spooling around 5500-6000RPM. that's a pretty good powerband for a large turbo .

I guess that makes 32...well 33 counting this one. Does this mean I don't know? Or I don't have the experience? What proof would you like...a ride in the car?

Look i don't feel like arguing with the Intense Crew.. because quite frankly Jorge is a friend of mine..

HOWEVER.. i never said MOST.. i said ALOT.. alot could indicate 10% of 4000 Supras... Most would indicate 75% of 4000 supra's..

Yes.... it does make a big difference... You have "heard" that people run those RPM's... I have seen those rpm's in datalogs, your gonna have to trust me on this... they don't run them there... rod bearings don't survive... wonder how I know....

oh yeah? stock valvetrain VQ's don't last over 7200 rpms.. however some have remained working and some have not.. what really are you telling me?

+10000........That was kind of my next response

I have probably built more 1000HP supras than any other tuner and we never go to 10K on them. The head just doesnt flow well enough no matter what cams you put in it. 8500-8700 is where we shift ours with the biggest crane cams available. The rev limiter is set at 9K.

So a guy "went for a ride" and from the passenger seat he could see the tach that doesn't go to 10k, hit 10k under 1000hp of acceleration.....yeah... that's what I would trust as my info as well.....Ding..Ding... any lights going off? No one said it wasn't possible to rev it to 10k... It's just not where they rev to, and the won't live there...that's why they don't rev them that high....
