Yea but the 240s usually need to modify the oil pan, or use a combination of Z and FWD VQ parts, so it clears.

I fit a VQ under the stock hood of a Datsun 510 (with an AAM IM spacer), so I really think it's possible to get a VQ to fit under the hood of a Z32. I'm assuming the steering rack was the main thing that caused them to mount it so high. There are things that can be done about that though.

That will actually be a TT VQ35!

Unfortunately he decided to not complete the project. I'm assuming $ reasons because this swap & everything involved is getting pricy. Just a couple more grand & I should be there. It would've been awesome to see, but he had the engine & trans up on ebay a week or two ago.

Thats a question better left to the 300ZX guys. I don't think many people on here are at all familiar with that platform unfortunately.

ty guys!
to raise the boost, you simply need to go with a smaller size pulley. if you want a drag car, go with a turbo. if you want a quick reliable street car, SC is the way to go. you really don't need all that much to safely run 12 PSI on a supercharged application on the VQ. as a matter of fact, a good set of injectors, fuel delivery system and a nice tune is all you would need. what are your plans for the car ?

This is scary because I think its all aboard for the fail boat. I am sad to see this project get so far and then flop for $$.
