After 3 months of reading the FI forum, finally decided to go with the stillen kit. Just had the stage 2 stillen installed at their facility, took 2 days and 6,700 bucks installed with the carbon fiber hood. The S/C, hood and labor was on some January sale. Customer service was great unlike from what Ive heard on the forum. For the 2006 owners that is interested in this kit, if your car is made from mid 2006 and up your going to be missing a fan bracket that is needed to install the kit. They charged me an extra 75 bucks to order the bracket.
Planning to go stage 4 once Im sure the motor is doing well with the stage 2.
Overall Im very satisfied with the power for my daily driver, figure if the engine blows ill just build the block and slap a TT on it
. O yea the quality of the hood is amazing, fits perfect unlike Seibon crap.
Heres some pics, dont mind the toyo tires sticker, im trying to cover up rock chips

awesome engine shot, but hey I gotta question for you. You see the position of the heatshield for your air filter. The other day I stuck my hand in that same position where the heat shield is while the engine was running, and all I felt was almost ice cold air, the radiator fans were blowing cold air directly at the side where the heatshield is at. Thats' on a stock motor though, I dont know what kind of radiator setup you have, so would it be plausible for me to say that on a stock motor the heatshield positioned there would actually block useful cool air??
cuz I'm about to custom build a heat shield box, and wondering would it be better to just make a full out aluminum heatshield box like the ARC one ?

building a full box would be the best, like the ARC or Stillen. When the fans activate it blows a shlt load of hot air right into the intake, the JWT heat shield is pretty worthless I think
pure sex...great price too. for some reason, i have always been a sc guy, just like the look and i for one like the sound. don't get me wrong, i like the tt sound too.
can you go with a strut bar with a sc though?
very very nice!

yea i agree on the insane price. Only reason I jumped on it because the 6,700 price seemed like a great deal
