Default Tial BOV w/ Greddy questions

i am going to be purchasing a tial bov.
What spring do you recommend us going with? what is the proper spring considering it is based off of vaccuum and not actual boost. can anyone please help me?

also what flange should i use for the greddy tt kit
aluminum? or SS

so i just took a look at tial's website
can someone please tell me what vaccuum is at idle
when the car is warm?

-22 to -23 in/hg - Pink
-18 to -21 in/hg - Unpainted
-14 to -17 in/hg - White
-10 to -13 in/hg - Black

Can tell me which one we should be using?

please help...
Thank you

just a fyi for anyone else looking to get the tial
you will want a 11psi spring
which is the unpainted
most motors from the search seem to be doing between 18-21 in/hg or approx 9-10psi...

This is critical to the vehicle to ensure that the valve isnt open at idle or not functional

which may be why quite a few people had issues with these bov's back in 2004

1 bar = 14.5 psi

the only options from tial seem to be
12/11/9/7

http://www.tialmedia.com/documents/w3_tial_bov50_sp.pdf

please enlighten me? are you speaking in regards to the wastegate spring possibly?

Remember tial has springs for both their waste gates and BOV (Blow off Valves).

these are not as fancy as the greddy's are with the adjustment **** but these are pretty idiot proof as there is nothing to mess with just pick the right spring...

The SSQV is a pull-type BOV, so I don't think it uses a spring. I could be incorrect though.

in reguards to the tial bov they are customizable. when you order from a distributor
they ask for color / flange type / spring type

just wondering what the other fi guys are currently running

I will have to check what spring I am running!

If your going wit hthe Greddy TT kit then get the aluminum flange as the pipping is aluminum.

Check into the Synapse Synchronic BOV before you buy a Tial.

I'll sell you my Tial for $135 shipped! It's silver and it's almost new. About 1000mi on it. I am switching BOV's.
