EDIT: I just cancelled my Thu night reservation at Fontana lodge. While I did so, I asked if they were full and the person there claimed there was still many open spots, at least for Thu night, for those that want to arrive 1 day early. I don't even know if we need to reserve a room in Hendersonville - can't imagine they'd be all full up!

The location is scenic, that's for sure.

 

Lets do it, Get a room at the Ramada for Thrusday Night!


I am gonna get to hendersonville early around 10AM So I can let the car cool down after the long drive.

My self and a couple other local guys with me heading from michigan going through 75 are leaving wenesday night around 9-10 PM, and we will arrive in Hendersonville around 8:00, giving the cars pleanty of time to cool down.\\
If anyone wants to cruise together driving through 75/275 we can meet up.

My reason on staying at the ramada in hendersonville thrusday night is because its close to the airstrip, cars can cool down, cheap rate and we can leave from Hendersonville in the morining to head off to Fontana. We can get a bunch of rooms at the ramada at discount rates and party afterwards have a good time discussing the event with some beers and hopefully fine local women!

 

who else is getting a room in Hendersonville for the airport run? I too was thinking of Ramada.

Do you guys think we need to book in advance? There's literally half a dozen spots within 20 mins that are all under $100/night - and everyone could split a room if they wanted to save a few bucks.

I called Ramada - they have plenty of space and they'd be willing to give a group discount for 10 rooms (standard is $69+tax). Basically it would come out to less than $40/night/person. The downside to a discount is probably we'll need to book in advance rather than just showing up.

Evidently, someone just called over to Ramada and they are going to give a discount if we can reserve 20 rooms, its 10 dollars off, lol.

See my note - they told me 10 rooms and we get a discount! $10 isnt much. I say we just play it by ear, but if there's a lot of interest, I'm game to book ahead.

 

Im a college student I have done this many times....

My buddies and I always get liek 2-3 rooms and pile people into them! SOOO CHEAP AND WORTH IT... who needs sleep... were pry getting chit faced anyway

We do the same thing. If we're drinking, it won't matter....

 

My point exactly we pry need a max of 5-6 rooms. And then just divide the cost among all of the people.

And those who want their own room can reserve them.

^Are you riding up to Hendersonville from Atlanta? It seems like Atlanta is the jump off for a lot of people; myself, Jumpin, Sharif, and XKR (I think).

BUT I might just stay a week or so down in Atlanta crusie around put miles then head to Hendersonville with you guys. Cause from ATL to Hendersonville I believe is only 200 miles or so max... Hendersonville is near Ashville
