Default Vortech oil feed fitting

I broke two of the Brass oil feed fitting. I tried to tighten the the oil line because I had seen oil came out from the charger durning the dyno tuning after hard pull. So, I ordered a stainless steel one, should arrive today. My question is, should I put any liquid sealant on the thread and how tight should I tighten it? I had removed the stainless line a few times since I broke two of the fitting, will I damage the line?

Did you crack the sender housing? It's hard to break brass, but if you way over tightened it, you can easily crack the aluminum.

Do you mean the pointy end with a laser cut tiny hole to feed oil to the blower? I cracked the whole fitting into 2 pcs. It cost me $55 for that little piece...... This is the link to that fitting........ Also, do I need any sealant to the thread to stop the leak?

Yes...I went with the steel one also . I would look for some sealant that can be used with oil or gas , and put that on the threads before putting it back on .

I did the same thing. Had an oil leak coming from that area and then broke it when I tried to tighten it. I also noticed that I have a small kink in in the oil return line where the line comes out to the supercharger. Could that cause the oil not to flow out as fast and then have it back up and leak out of the nozzle.

luckily i kept the one out of my 1st blower when i sent it back for warranty. So at least I have a spare. youu could just use some Ultra-Grey to seal it. Mine nevered leaked, but teflon tape or the sealant would work fine.

Thanks for all the help. But do you guys think I can install the fitting without removing the blower from the bracket?
