It may depend on how he was metering the AFR on the dyno. If he was using a tailpipe sniffer to meter the AFR's, it may have been showing a little leaner than it was actually operating.

I still don't think your shop should be handing out ridiculously overinflated numbers to customers. I can think of some other very ridiculous techs that did that and look at the reputation they have now.
You're also incredibly naive (and coming across as a bit ignorant) to insist that the car is legitimately making that kind of power, and then try to pass it off on this forum of all places. The only one you're fooling is yourself, and the non-technical newbs who dont know any better.
Just be ready for the day you actually take it to the track and run high 12's or 13's, or roll down to a sea level state and get pulled on by a 420whp stock motor setup.

Furthermore, Its cool if you're happy with it. You're right that it's all that matters.

Most of the time I think guys here are "hating" (Stillen, etc. etc.). But this time you guys are right on. Trying to bring someone back to reality and prevent him from blowing his motor - seems good natured to me.
