BTW: Nick at MAC is known for his very conservative tunes.

It may depend on how he was metering the AFR on the dyno. If he was using a tailpipe sniffer to meter the AFR's, it may have been showing a little leaner than it was actually operating.

But, whatever...

I still don't think your shop should be handing out ridiculously overinflated numbers to customers. I can think of some other very ridiculous techs that did that and look at the reputation they have now.

You're also incredibly naive (and coming across as a bit ignorant) to insist that the car is legitimately making that kind of power, and then try to pass it off on this forum of all places. The only one you're fooling is yourself, and the non-technical newbs who dont know any better.

Just be ready for the day you actually take it to the track and run high 12's or 13's, or roll down to a sea level state and get pulled on by a 420whp stock motor setup.

Furthermore, Its cool if you're happy with it. You're right that it's all that matters.

However, when you post a thread like this it becomes open for public discussion. Just because people are pointing out something you don't want to hear about doesn't necessarily mean they're being "haters". When you posted here you made your setup and dyno sheets open for public discussion.

Unless he's running twin 35-37r's. That might be possible.

+1

Most of the time I think guys here are "hating" (Stillen, etc. etc.). But this time you guys are right on. Trying to bring someone back to reality and prevent him from blowing his motor - seems good natured to me.

I don't think it would be possible without race gas, water/meth, cams, stroker, or maybe an HR motor. (or the combination of a few of these)
