I wish someone put together a simple kit that allows you to run the filter just outside in front of the radiator. Many people have done it, but there doesn't seem to be a simple parts list for it.

I bet Jessie James could make one! Any custom fab shops out there? Maybe make one out of polished aluminum. I would pay for a nice piece like that for the Vortech.

I had It done this past week. The shop that did it did a great job. If anyone is actually interested I could have more fabricated and sell them. We used aluminum piping so its similar looking to the rest of the i/c piping in the kit. Let me know if anyone is actually interested. If enough people are I could deff put something together for a really decent price.

I'm interested. I just don't know where to find mandrel bent 3" aluminum locally along with the couplers. Would just make it easier to order it all together.

I have only one pic of it right now when we were contructing it, but I can post it later on tonight once Im home from college. Price wise would differ, you could either buy just the pipe and hose connector to the s/c, I could that have made for $100 shipped, or the pipe and a filter which would be a K & N filter for $125 shipped. Let me know.

It requires a significant amount of trimming to the radiator support, as well as some custom coupler, custom bends, and custom offset piping. Well, mine did:

Mine is much simpler than Vash350z's and it is a single piece that will fit right in without any modifications to anything. Here are the pics.

Furthmore, for anyone thats been looking to upgrade the vortech intercooler to a larger one I can make a custom one as well. You can see it in the first picture above. If there is enough interest than I will be able to make some. Let me know.

Intercooler dimensions are 31" x 12" x 4" I do not have any straight on shots of it however right now. You'll have to remove your bumper to change the filter, but hey, that beats taking apart the charger assembly anyday. Check your PMs also.

I would also like to mention that my intake is a minimum of 3.5" at all points, which is the size of the Vortech inlet.
