Default Fuel Consumption Question

Hi Guys,

My car pushes out about 460whp at 12Psi. I have built motor with aps tt, unichip, 440cc injectors. I drive car fairly hard and average about 250 - 300km on full tank. Is that normal?

What are you guys getting on full tank.. I wanna compare mine.

Thanks

Sounds about right if you are driving it hard. That does blow for overall mileage.

250 km = 156.25 mi

156.25 / 20 = 7.8125 mpg

Lay off the gas alittle holy ****

At steady cruise, we are seeing 20-25mpg...no joke. When you beat on the car....usually about 10-13mpg.

I just filled my tank with 156.9 miles on it (which equates to about 250 km per App6MT's calc). I used 7.5 gallons of fuel which is just shy of 21 mpg during mixed driving conditions.
9:1 comp motor
APS extreme fuel system
APS TT setup 12-15 psi
Fcon
3.3 FD

I noticed a huge increase in milage moving from the unichip to Fcon despite running nearly twice the boost and larger fuel system

LOL you spent all that on the car and you are worried about gas, I don't even bother checking the gas mileage or gas prices as I have no choice other than to fill up or don't drive, I would concern myself if I notice really short distances between fill up like 50 miles but otherwise enjoy the car.

I do not have a build engine but have a Greddy TT set up. hard driving I get 200 miles- 210 miles a tank. Last week I drove very calmly (LOL) and today I filled up at 260 miles of use for a tank.

can't use this math coz you don't actually fillup 20 Gallon. With gas light on I would say it is around 15 Gallon. 156/15=10.41, my fuel consumption is about 11miles per gallon when I'm boosting a lot.
