Default Somebody Kill This Thread.

Thought this was going to be a informative thread. It started that way, then it became a shiit flinging contest. I can understand the frustrations, but wow this is better than a soap opera.

I feel for Maxhax, as I do for FFP. I can't take sides. I was not there. So all I can say is good luck and get that Bad AZZ Z on the road.

Lets hear more about the supercharger itself

Has anybody tried to install the SC by themselves?

Yes.....and dont do it!!! The Procharger fitment really sucks!! Take it to a shop and have it done so that they are responsible. The piping to the intercooler doesnt quite fit and gets pinched, and the supercharger unit itself is DIFFICULT to mount due to space limitations.

I installed mine, but I'd have to say that I wouldn't recommend it to anyone that doesn't have some experience working on cars.

It is indeed a pretty tight fit, but thats how it had to be, to fit under the stock hood..... I'm pretty damn surprised that it requires so little space modification to get it all in there.

Thanks for the feedback.

Kind of ironic... as Paul here locally had ZERO problems with his installation. More so his care if running perfect.

Maybe its the installers that can't install these pieces...

Kind of ironic...I had a few problems with my installation. But that really doesn't matter...some cars will be a little harder than others with a kit that fits as tight as this one. Its really something to be expected and I don't really have a problem with that fact. As long as they will stand behind the product and help people get through the install, all is ok.

FFP has my car and we are in agreeance that the car will be fixed and I will be running smaller pulley's after the outcome. Some may be suprised by the ideas implemented and a pic will follow if everything goes right. I am withholding judgement on the board until I get my car back. To put a positive spin on it, this car can take some boost and handle N20 and the track! The engine is amazing! Let them take as long as they want (FFP) as long as they resolve the problem it will all have been worth it. ATI has been cool, they are trouble-shooting it's a new product that is bang for the buck and fits under the hood so I support them (ATI.) I don't want this to turn into a I hate SC thread I want this to come out as a problem resolved look at this friggen time slip thread! I am confident this will happen. If it doesn't I will say so, I have done so like this on every product I have used. So till then let's give them a chance. You can't go anywhere and get a kit like this right now for this price anyway with all the bells and whistles. I hope to hear something on my car soon.

On Names

My nickname has been Max since I got out of the US. Navy as a Fire Fighter in 1984. All of my friends and co workers call me Max. I even have Max Hax tattoed on my arm. Paul is my legal name only like when paying bills such as this, thus the confusion. My car went in yesterday at noon and I brought a witness this time! :-)
I tape recorded everything but I trust Keith to resolve everything surrounding this misunderstanding!

Smile I am very glad that this is getting worked out.

I have been reading this thread along with thousands of others and I was a little upset that a conflicted developed. I am very glad that it seems to be resolving with cool heads and maturity and that lawyers many not have to be involved. We (350z’s) are a small community and I hope that the owners and tuners, that we deal with, love the cars and that the individual goals of each can be reached in a positive manner without others getting involved, i.e. lawyers. My input, sorry to make the thread longer.

was just wondering. did the 9lb pulley mess up any internals on the car? are you still planning on running them if not? I just posted a new thread to see if anybody had numbers on them yet and someone said to ask you. let me know i was thinking of doing this. I was going to buy the tuner kit and use the greddy e mange along with some 440 cc rc lucas injectors but if the engine is no good for this i should opt out on this idea.
