Well I havent posted here for a while. From my previous posts, I did finish my car with Sam at GTM and went with his turbos, 3.8L, built end, etc. I don't daily drive my Z(keep in mind it has rims, INGS kit, carbon hood, lowered, diffuser, basically show quality) but when I do, im VERY cautious with it, I drive safe, I always look in my mirrors constantely, I try to stay out of the carpool lane, I do the speed limit. Yea, is it hard not to hit the gas and feel the turbos? Of course it's hard, but I always think of the risk of getting pulled over. I will say this though, when cops do see me and kind of stare while there waiting at a light or anywhere that makes them look suspicious of me, I'll usually pull over somewhere very near ASAP and go inside a store, restaurant, fast food, or anything, because usualy they'll just keep on driving since I'm out the car and went somewhere. I'm also a very young guy so I'm also always being careful because of my age. But everyone in this thread is right, CARB is the best way to go, but for my HP goals, CARB wasn't good enough lol. For anyone going FI in cali, just take in consideration what kind of area you live in and what kind of cops you have(majority easy going or if they go straight by the book). But it will ALWAYS be a risk and the luck of the draw. Safe boost driving!
