Do you mean **** in a good way or bad? I cant remember but this has been discussed here and the OEM Oil Filter is more than enough even with built motor. If I'm not mistaken majority of guys here use the OEM filter.

Edit:
It is a sticky..lol check this thread.. OEM FTW https://my350z.com/forum/forced-induction/323131-built-motors-what-oil-filter-are-you-using.html

It is engineered for turbo diesels.....and gas engines, too. It is not strictly a turbo diesel oil. It is a great oil.

AutoZone and Walmart both carry it. It is inexpensive....something like $16 per GALLON! or maybe even less. I can't remember. It comes in the blue container.

Werd. That's what I run too. I run the $hit out of my car sometimes too. No problems what so ever. BTW, to the OP, I live in a similar climate as you. Houston, Tx.

after reading a couple of thread some ppl recommend the 0w-40 euro car formula..

So Which Oil should i pick up??

My temp is sometimes @ night 24 C (74 F) and in the day 30-35 C (86 + F)

I drive sometimes my car pretty hard..and i saw on a thread that the 10w 30 can get to thin when you drive hard..

So What should i stick to??

thanks
Read the following thread. Start with post #94. I had the same questions you have about the oil. It should clear up things for you.

Thanks. I normally use a 30wt wether it was a Mobil 1 5w30 or Penzoil plat. I just got two 5 qt jugs of PP to try. Now I want to give Rotella a try!

Do you happen to know if the Rotella synthetic 40 weight has a viscosity closer to a typical 30w?

My Owner's Manual specifies 5W30. My personal pick is Mobil 1 (a good combination of quality & price); when it's on sale, I stock up--'bout twice a year. I gather, any brand that's got the "SAE/API" on it, has got to be good!

Not even close. It's a solid 40 weight, unlike the relatively thin M1 0w-40 grade.

WTF?!! Who is selling you this oil? Last time I looked it was around 6 dollars at Wal-Mart. Even NAPA is cheaper than that.

I originally recommended the Rotella T-Syn for QuadCam and some other guys running forced induction. The oil is well designed for this use, and has a good history of excellent UOA's from a variety of turbo engines, both gasoline and diesel. I am now running it in my car just to see how it does in a NA engine, and will post my own results whenever I get around to changing the oil. Probably in the next week.

Listen to this guy. He's know what he's talking about.
