I used to be a waiter, and I killed it. Now I'm an intern at a big construction company. I took a big pay cut, but its what I have to do to get the job I want when I graduate. Really, it came down to me working ALL the time, living frugally, and setting objectives.

 

I'm a huge crack dealer.

 

Most of them have parents who didn't love them enough as kids so they make up for it by buying them whatever they want when they're older.

I am a bartender/server in a neighborhood restaurant that the cheapest house is $1,000,000. I make great money. I wish my folks helped me out. Every dime I make go into the car. Ive been working since age 14

 

i was a server/manager for over 10 yrs... the money was great but i had to get out of it..i couldnt take the long nights and the partying after

 

I did one summer of hard partying, and I have some wild stories and (fragmented) memories, but going out and getting shittossed on a regular basis gets expensive.

No regrets....I am glad I went FI...and I would do it again. It feels so good when entering a freeway on ramp and someone in a M3 or Vette is on my bumper and then pssssssss....no more vette or m3...The look you get from them after that is priceless
