it might be....what do u do?

Im in IT and last year i turned down a job offer for almost $20k more a year in the city. I refuse to commute their everyday. I hate the train more than anything and would not want to add 3 hours to each workday just for commuting.

but if you dont mind that, there is bigger money to be made there, depending on what u do

To the OP, you have to just be smart and plan out how you're going to go F/I. I bought a TN kit for 4k. Paid cash for it. Now all the other stuff like boost controller, utec, bigger injectors, blah blah blah, you can put on the credit card. I'm I hurting a lil bit from it? Yea, I mean think about it almost 10k is a lot to spend @ one time. But I can still pay my bills and feed myself. You just have to be smart on how you do it and plan ahead.

First of all, who said anything about "lying?" Do you see the word "lie" or "liar" anywhere on my post?! Geez...someone's defensive and projecting!
Secondly, don't try to whip anything out...I don't care if you were crawling in the jungles of 'Nam! I was in Kuwait back in '91 and during the begining of OIF in '03. Put your "stripes" away and zip it up.

wow.... he's down to 22k with not even a nibble.it's tough out here and re-sale on modded cars has always sucked.your target buyer is a small minority and most want to build their own way(and have the first crack at whooping it).at least he's not one of those barrett knucleheads i bet most of them are washing their cars with their tears.

pretty sad, that must be the truth, but it seems like most of them are playing it off as if they want to go bigger with a Z06 or GT-R.

Yes...modded G/Z are tough in the re-sale market....so many cars have been built wrong and people are afraid of getting an internally banged up car. Luie's car pulled alot of cash in the part-out area because of its fame and who built it. If this was a Porsche built by Ruf...the price would be out the roof.

I have no intension of selling my car for that reason unless I can get a fair price for the car not in a part out sale.....because I know my car was done by one of the best shops with the best of parts with no short cuts taken. This is why I intend to MAX it out. The only parts you will find for sale off my car are parts that i intend to upgrade.

Its sad when you see someone invest 30K+ in a car worth 30K+ and then turn around and sell it for a loss of 30K. SAD !!!
