your exhaust flows fine for you current power levels. i just hope you dont keep pushing the boost to make up for untapped potential power your car is giving up due to poor exhaust flow.

have you looked into getting a bigger radiator and fans? fluid dampener pulley would be a great investment too. pathfinder cooling mod, evans ngp+ coolant, revup oil pump. might want to look into all those as well. for the price of the deatschwerks, i would look into getting the hks 1000cc instead, those low impedance injectors are the best of the best as sharif told me.

 

I did it as a joke(notice what the title is supposed to be?), it seems like everyone on here likes to do they hey look at me thing by making their threads stick out so i decided to have some fun w/ it. It is a joke between me and some of the local guys . I have to admit though i am very excited about doing this so i probably came off as being a little loud. I have been waiting to have a built TT Z since 04 before i even had the car. This something that i have waited A LONG time for.

I am thinking about upgrading to a koyo radiator and i already have the pathfinder cooling mod. I have a revup so i will have a revup oil pump (all the motor builders on here use them anyways). I was looking at the hks injectors but it seems that Jeremy doesn't like them due to them not fitting well(at least that is what i think he said). I may look in to getting the low impedance RC injectors.

Trust me man i do not want to blow this motor so JT will not push it into doing something the motor is not capable of handling. If i can't make the power i want then i will upgrade the exhaust and go from there. I guess we will see what happens.

 

Chris...IMO...I think the HKS 1000's are the best. I have zero issues with them.

A bigger Koyo is a good idea but RC injectors is not....The DW injectors are going to work just fine with your motor. As much as JT likes to build the fastest Z's on the planet, he also listens to what his customers want.

 

just for lil reference a dual 3" exhaust barely flows more than a 4" single (would be the same as a 4.1" exhaust)

you would need 3x 2.5" pipes to flow the same as a a dual 3" or a single 4"

Not really an accurate estimate at all. A 3" exhaust flows roughly 50% more then a 2.5" exhaust. Someone can chime in since I don't remember my fluid dynamics class.
