you scare me some times

first you still have the upper oil pan attached to the block so building it will tough

Here is a pic of how I did mine

well you wont be able to disassemble it with the upper oil pan on and attached to the stand

no I disassembled and built mine all the way to long block including plenum, it is just heavy and have to be careful with the balance if you try to turn it, once at short block level it is really easy to maneuver

mounting engine on stand now, is the above picture a pretty good reference of where you want the engine on the stand.

You can put a full engine with all accessories on a stand and tear it down. How else do you get the upper pan off? I put them straight on the stand, spin the engine up side down and then start unbolting all the oil pans to strip it down to the bare block. Done it many times on cars.
