Not to be rude. But there is no need to debate that. If a plenum has a crank in it that allows boost to vent to the crank case, then it will presurize the crankcase. It's a simple no brainer. Anyone that has built High HP cars knows that every now and then you can have that happen. It happens on stock units, it happens on modified units. So I'm no bashing a product. Just saying if I was you I wouldn't start a debate about that, or you might end up looking a tad bit silly.

EA

PS: I haven't taken the 350 intake off yet (will be very soon for the swap) so I don't know if there is a solid valley like a LS1 or LS6 (then it wouldn't suffer from the crank case press. But rather just low boost.) Or if it is open to the motor. In that case there could be a crank case issue.

PSS: Let the debate go on. It helps people make decisions on the net. It also helps me/others weed out who is an "expert" and who just sits on the internet all day and posts, what they "think" to be fact. These debates are the best way to prove that post counts dont matter.

There is a pretty good sized valley there. If you take off the plastic engine cover you can see it. It's a V-shaped channel that runs from the front of the engine to the back.

I just wandered out and looked at my G35's intake. And No, a cracked intake wouldn't be venting to the crank case. But that is a "item" that could be on the check list of anycar, that has excessive crank case press. Just in the case of the 350Z/G35 it wouldn't apply.

I couldn't agree with you more.......although the internet is a great source of information, it's a also a great source of misinformation.

Well it's bad form to make a counter point before even examining said Plenum don't you think? Especially when a vendor is involved? A debate usually consists of research before making broad sweeping statements.
