I thought he's still using the Reflash... I know he posted somewhere that he's still on the reflash with his built motor. He blew his old motor with the TN flash and still stick with it. He blame shifting to redline bent his rod and not the reflash. Just today I redline my car over 15 times, coz I was adjusting my 6000-7000 Fuel Map and some race here and there (Just raced an E63 and modded M6 tonight too..lol). I probably redline my car over 30 times just this week... lol

Damn, this is not gonna be a good thread.

alright, the car is still on the reflash mainly because im selling the kit so i didnt want to spend a 1500 for injectors and tune to sell a month later.

and the only reason i didnt change the plugs because they were in good shape regardless of the miles. guess not anymore. They were also gapped to .030"

I ordered new plugs yesterday, they should be here monday.

Oh my lord. Why would you think it's a good idea to use old plugs on a new engine. Even if the plugs look 'ok' you don't know what the integrity of the plug is internally. And even then, it's 30 bucks for new plugs!!!!!!! Come on.
Hell, i change my plugs every 20,000 km and my engine is stock. 20,000 miles on an FI'd engine is just plain negligence.

Ive done dozens and dozens of tune ups on just regular cars and i always check for wearness and color and damage to the plug before changing. I guess i thought same idea applied to FI motors too. Especially platinum plugs which last a whole lot longer

Well. I suppose we learn from our mistakes. I hope it hasn't caused any damage to the bore.

You the have money to buy a new Short block, but decided not to upgrade to a decent EMS/piggyback Utec installed and tuned is cheap as you know. I hope you dont put the blame on the TN kit... G/L though.

Its all TNs fault. lol jk

but no, completely my fault. I do have a utec but like i said, if im gettin a different turbo kit, whats the point of a tune. ill just save the tune money and bigger inector money.

Thats why, im selling everything. Im going APS soon enough.

The point of tune is to avoid this detonation...I would hate to spend more money on another Shortblock, if that's the case.

Just messing with you on the "TN comment" lol.
