no point now, its gettin cold, almost winter. ill just save my money for twins and get that tuned. but thanx for kind words. +1 for tsz

Its more to it than that. I fail to beleive that a spark plug caused this detonation. Like some people said, it could be timing or just because i ran lean due to small injectors. Dont forget, im still running the 380 TN injectors with 9:1 CR pistons

First off...I almost slapped the sh*t out of you because your a cocky d-bag. You run your mouth to people you don't know and its gonna catch up to you some day. I cant tell you how many people there wanted to see me make you cry...I didnt need a watergun for that. You were shaking like you had parkinsons. Your lucky your friend begged me not to. Also, you call me a ricer?
You have a half a$$ed body kit, shopping cart wing and red and black wheels on a silver car with a turbo kit that isnt even tuned.and you call me a ricer? Also you talk about what I do in the parkinglots..id LOVE to see you do any of that..alls you do is your little boost burnouts out of the parkinglot trying to impress everyone. The reason we leave when you come around is because of your "better than everyone" attitude. We go down there to have a good time..you come down to "beat" everyone to show how much of a man you are. Your a string bean with a big mouth. We all go down there to hang out and have a good time not to street race on the berlin turnpike.

You did this to yourself. You act like your better than everyone and brag about your car and then come on the board and show everyone how much of a complete idiot you are. You are too lazy(or too stupid) to take care of the little things like spark plugs..thats pathetic.

The spark plug didnt cause detionation your incompetence did. While they werent the cause of it them being old didnt help. Your base map or whatever it is was part of the reason along with having injectors that were too small. Instead of spending money on making the car uglier you should of put it towards the stuff that mattered. You beat the sh*t out of that car..what did you think was gonna happen? Forged pistons doesnt mean the engine is indestructable.

Im pretty sure thats what would cause it, but you never know.. 10psi on 380's is pretty well past the 'golden' cc rule.. it has been pretty cold out lately..
For what its worth, you could take the turbo out and see if anything foreign has been through..

Good news and bad news.

Good news, im so far past annoyed, ive been smiling for an hour now

bad news, an hour ago, i found out no compression what so ever in cyl 3. not even 5 lbs of pressure.

so right now, i dont even know what im gonna do. im gona tear apart the block this winter, again, and hopefully, the walls are not ****ed up and itll be an easy fix.

Keep the flame goin, i really dont care anymore. *sigh*

Could be a possiblity but wouldnt a open valve hit the piston at DTC and cause a knockin noise?? There were no noises when i did the compression test or even when the car was running. Ill take off the valve cover tomorow and inspect the valve

Sorry for your trouble... Cant really blame anyone but yourself. One blown motor cost $$$ yet alone a second one. I hope you learn from this and after you rebuild this second one try no to run the TN reflash again. If you are short in money then dont drive the car. Do you have any any gauge? I would assume you are monitoring your A/F since you are running a 380cc inj.

I've seen reports of #3 going before. Look at the Cosworth engineering test data (for the stock setup - assuming baseline is the stock plenum - not 100% on that). #3 flows the most = leanest of all the cylinders.

What does the #5 plug look like? That would be the next to go if the data is accurate...

You're right man. I fuked up big time.... I cant beleive this is happening over again, my one nightmare being relived.

as for the AF, i do have a wideband. And at WOT, it would always peg at 10:1.

Its not really a nightmare ED. You knew the injectors were too small, you knew the plugs were shot, and you knew the tune was junk..why did you continue to beat the **** out of the car? And then you have people who will help you but you have too much self pride to ask for some until its too late. Anyone who knows me knows id help them in a heart beat with anything like this..even you if you werent such a ********.

0 compression??? wow....hope for a hung up valve. Other wise you burned a hole in a piston (or at least burned part of it away)

Next go around no the limits of all your parts (internals, fuel, plugs, computer, etc), and remember
quick 1000 times is better than fast 1 time
