damn man. Why do businesses let this happen? I mean I understand the whole thing of blowing up and getting overwhelmed. But you HAVE TO treat your customers right. Even if that means turning down work. Either way I wouldn't be able to just ignore all these people's calls and emails.

I'm working nights again and sleeping during the day on my work days. I've also been preoccupied with some other matters, so I haven't been by the shop in a while and haven't called Darren or Han.

Eric,
Your trans has been in Phoenix for a few days now. The freight company had some mix-up, but it's on them, not us nor SGP. While I find the relevance in updating this thread with the whereabouts of the trans, we had confirmed (and posted in this thread) some time back that it was indeed picked up from SGP and in transit to us. The immediate use of the trans is null, as your car is currently being caged and therefore un-drivable. I can get with Han on the time frame of your build and PM you later today.
Darren

Thanks Guys - I was hoping imdigital would find his trans under the tree as well, but no luck. I was also wondering if Rude's trans had been tested yet to see if any of the issues brought up by other members had surfaced, but Darren addressed that in his reply. Good Luck to all involved.

My car is back up and running.
The trans shifts beautifully. I'm not a huge fan of the new torque converter, which I upgraded. It is smaller and has a higher stall. I asked them to upgrade it to 2800, but I think it is more around 3000-3100. They had a problem at their shop and they ended up giving me a brand new one. Anyway, with the fixed VB and the built trans in, it is now fun to drive my car again! No BOOM shifts and no head bashing. They're hard when I want them to be hard, and easy when I'm driving normal.
Though we did have a boost problem, apparently I overboosted to 11 at first, we adjusted my manual boost controller then saw 9, adjusted again and saw 14, and somehow we hit 20? I'm on the stock block too, but I don't see how overboosting that much is possible with my setup. I have JWT twins and their upgraded fuel pump and stock injectors. A/F was good, low 11s but I overboosted? I just don't get it..
Anyway we bypassed my manual boost controller and are using the wastegate springs and all is good now

Hellos,
We were in fact NOT banned.
IB, being partially human, made a mistake and deactivated our account last night. I emailed my rep from my home and had a mod help me figure out what happened. Per IB, IB will be posting in every thread where our "ban" was brought up.
