Now that I am legal again, I'm down , if it helps, your car looks faster.

My local mechanic found a couple of small issues during inspection today. The drivers side coupler on the intake near the intercooler is rubbing against a piece of the underbody, the AC line is sitting aginst the same pipe and may be prone to pre-mature failure unless wrapped a bit and the steering knuckle is catching on the drivers side turbo housing when the car is cold.

Other than that I got my exemption and tires put on today with a warning from the tech not to get into the throttle for at least a day and/or 50 miles so the tires will seat solidly. He was concerned that the rim may spin inside the tire with power the car has. I have also started the ball rolling on moving the title to FL so inspection and emissions are a thing of the past .

I heard FL just adopted horrific CA regulations... Not sure if its true but you might want to check it out. Maybe Terry can give us the inside scoop if something is coming...

No chance... they had inspection and such for a year where my mom lives and then they voted to get rid of it. Old people don't want to be hassled about their cars

Car sounds good. Just need to bump that idle a bit. Maybe somewhere around 900-1000rpm. Otherwise sounds great. Congrats again. Third times a charm!!!

Maybe than it was just one of the vids of someone pulling the car out of the garage that sounding like the driver was pedaling the car to keep it alive. If that's not the case than I stand corrected.

That is good to know. I did a quick search and couldn't find much about it. This little column said something is slated for 2013 though hopefully it will stall: http://www.environmentalleader.com/2...ions-standard/.

I'm also thinking FL is looking like a good place for a 2nd residence!

Congrats! Does the idle sound of your new engine sounds similar to the idling video you have on your previous engine?
