was hanging out at an evo shop and decided to try the turbosmart BOV. it fits alot better, holds boost, no flutter, and sounds better. best part is it uses same size ports making for a direct replacement without needing to weld a flange on and you could use exiting piping but would need to be cut, cory@ams tuning found some old pipeing and hooked it up. got it used for 150 installed.
Nothing special but just another option for people out there
TurboSmart Dual port Evo 8 specific- recir and atmospheric configurations
I still need to mess around with the spring tension but it extremly adjustable(just turn the red cap). ill try to upload sound clips when i got a chance

Nice!! See if you can make a short vid of a flyby so we can hear the difference. I'm not sure I will mind the flutter, but its nice to know there are options out there. I love the sound of the Raptor BOV on my TN Single.

I am running mine without a filter...I have never seen anyone run it with one. Luie was the first person I saw with this BOV.
I have the flange on the intake pipe capped off and running the BOV open with no filter or anti-stall. I am not running the OEM maf -> I am running a MAP sensor. If you are running the maf, you may need to recirc
