Default Car Wont Start

Ok So Monday, I drove the car up the street and back put it away with nothing particularly wrong just the typical cel light and engine lights that had been on since I boosted it.

-The car
JWT 530
Haltech
600 Dwerks

The temp was 35 degrees two days ago and 73 today, and now the car just turns over but nothing happens.

yup codes.. it could be Crankshaft POS Sensor ... it could be Fuel ... It could be the Imobilizer in the Key

the thing about being FI and having codes is you ignore the light because you had codes prior.. but sometimes other codes come and you don't know because you been igonring them.. thats what happened when i had Camshaft POS Sensor go on me.. i kept ignoring the codes till my VDC and SLIP lights came on

Neither of those should keep it from starting (at least on a stock ECU).

Can you hear the fuel pump prime when you turn the ignition on?

Any possible chance you could have blown an ignition fuse?

I believe I read with the Haltech it will start up and run without a programmed key since the Haltech controls fuel and spark directly so I doubt the issue is with the immobilizer.

Is it possible to remove the Haltech and go back to the OEM ECU for troubleshooting?

KPierson: Fuel Pump does prime, My tech tom shows ignition of 6 to 9 degrees. I am incapable of pulling haltech for fear of damaging something.

Not sure what you mean Sharif

I have tried both keys, but haven't tried the valet. Come to think about it i unlocked the car with the valet one night but never started it. I doubt this would have an effect.

All my fuses have been checked and rechecked, all fluids have been checked as well.

I am thinking moisture in the air from the extreme temp change may have fowled my Crankshaft sensor or something odd but am not sure. I hope there is an easy fix and I am just over thinking it.

1281 Bank 2 Drivers side: Air fuel ratio (A/F) sensor 1 circuit no activity detected.

0021 Bank 2 Divers side: Intake Valve Timing Control. There is a gap between angle of target and phase-control angle degree. ECM enters failsafe mode.

Those are codes are simply the result of having the Haltech control Cam angles...that isn't the problem.

What I was asking you, is to goto your car, and turn the key to the ON position...don't start the car, but turn the key on. Now, is your check engine light illuminated??

Is there a particular reason you don't want to bypass the Haltech? With most systems it is OK to bypass them as long as you don't actually drive the car.

It is much easier to troubleshoot engine managment issues when you can eliminate as many variables as possible - that's why I brought it up. But, I'm not familiar with the Haltech so I don't know for sure if it would be safe to do that. Maybe Hal can comment?

I did not want to bypass the haltech mainly because I am not smart enough then to fix something with that if it were to go wrong.

However, i was able to get the car running through good old magic!

I called Hal and he yelled at the car and it started for me.
