Since I have nothing better to do on a Saturday night...

Sorry for the bad pic, best I could get with my car being put away for storage.
I believe that is 2" pipe there though. Watch out for the sway bar though when the suspension decompresses, as I think the earlier kits had some rubbing issues.

Thank you very much for the picture. Apreciate the input.
That most def. does not look like a 2.5" piece of pipe. The car is on stands right now, so I took the floor jack and put it under the passenge side wheel and lifted it up. This way I can see where things sit when the car is on the road. It seems like there is enough room for a 2.5" pipe there but it has to be positioned just right. I will probably weld a bracket on some tubing and have it bolt up so it can't move, or I will just use a 1' piece of silicone hose. That way even if it does touch something once in a while nothing will happen, the hose will just compress.

Well, at this point UTEC. I have a brand new one here with map sensor as well as a UTEC tuner with wideband.
If I could get $800 for the UTEC tuner and the UTEC itself with all the accesories I would sell it and get a Haltech. But for now I'll stick with the UTEC stuff.

^^thanks for the suggestions on silicone couplers guys, but I found that ebay has the best deals on those. For me it's all about finding someone that can ship for cheap as I am up in Canada. For some reason I get the shaft every time something gets shipped up here.

I'm sure you already know this, but spend the extra $ and get boost clamps, dont use the regular hardware store clamps. It will save you alot of headaches and keep silicone hoses from popping off the pipes.

You are refering to worm gear clamps and yes they are not made to hold under pressure.

Damn nice welds you got. How long you been welding?
I used to weld, then stopped for a few months and now bought a mig welder again but i need to buy the argon gas for it. Welding is like a sport, if you stop doing it, you lose the hang of it.

I am not a welder, it's just something I picked up while working during summer months, about 10 years ago now. I am an Electronics Engineering Tech., but really enjoy fabricating so I guess it's a hobby. It is all tig welded though, not mig. I have never tried mig welding but from what understand it's the easiest out of the 3 basic welding techniques. I am not sure which one is more difficult, tig or arc/stick. I guess it all depends on how much time you spend on each.
