Then if you and your little brother knows how to do this kind of work...then why not do it yourself
Sharif will put your car back to stock...the exact way you gave it to him...and I know for a fact he will not charge you...take your turbo setup and do it yourself. Its a win/win for everyone. Then when you F it up....just come back here and start a thread titled "Sharif/FP refuses to work on my car"

if you thought this was gonna be like dropping your car off at express oil change and them changing the oil, please take the keys back to the infiniti dealer, or mail them to me, ill fix the rest. these projects take time and effort, trial and error, ups and downs, etc etc. sharif went above and beyond in your case. be patient, it will be worth it.
your honda might outrun some Zs, but not drag, hondas aint gots no torque.

Keep in mind we where probably in the wrong, their was still a balance of 5,000 that was owed for rims and exhaust. So shariff calls the police saying we stole the stuff from the shop. So we turn around and deal with the police, and shariff said he wouldn’t press charges. HOW SWEET!! after blowing up a new car! Keep in mind we where gonna have to spend 10k on a new motor, plus install somewhere else!
True, would have been smart to pay car off!! but didnt!!!

wow.seems like poor timing to bring all this up now, just days from completion. Long shop times are very much the norm unfortunately. Look at any of the shop builds, usually 2-3 months. From what you said, sounds like Sharif was very accomodating. Had you decided not to build, it woulda been a free fix. I know I've signed plenty of consent forms from numerous shops saying they are not liable for damages done while tuning. You are lucky Sharif is such a standup guy not to hold you to that.
Hopefully you have a backup shop that's not on this forum to do the tune.

As far as the money, maybe you should have paid the car off before dropping 30g's in to it.
I'm sorry to hear how disappointed you are, but Forged Performance and Sharif have an incredible track record within this community, and the fact that he let you have Sandy's car as a loaner speaks volumes. The fact that you still are unsatisfied, even after this gesture raises a lot of questions. Furthermore, considering that you left the entire part about police evolvement out of your story leads me to believe that there is way more to this story than you are actually telling us.
You should have chilled out and let Sharif and his guys handle this. Instead, you decided to make a highly inflammatory post, that has just made you look silly.

Things happen with builds like these. I doubt Sharif expected the build to be so time consuming. It is unfortunate about the stock rods in your motor. Sharif is generally known to err on the conservative side pf his tuning. It sounds like sharif tried to make the best of a bad situation for both parties by giving you a good loaner car and covering the labor costs of the built motor. Although you incurred some unexpected expenses at the and of the day you will have one pf the first built motor g37 in the country. Hope everything is resolved and your brother enjoys his car.

Love this post
a. OP does have a point that a brand new car should not have any rods / components damaged from it.
b. forged should have ensured that the car was ok and that the car was not damaged to begin with before tuning.
c. The car does belong to OP, and he does have some amount of expectations when he' is paying top dollars to get it tuned. whether he is super rich or not does not justify anything.
d. forged performance should have provided a realistic schedule for the client, if it was going to be late, let the customer know from the on-set.
e. OP should have bought a GTR instead argument is not justifiable, thats his decision, not ours.
f. forged did provide quality customer service by providing a loaner vehicle.
g. although OP's G is the first TT to be installed, the lack of knowledge or experience should not be a concern for OP as he is paying for the service (unless from the on-set forged informed OP of the potential delays)
