I did take off the front end and pulled the engine through I bolted it back up because I towed the car after the engine was pulled and its easier with the tow hook on the front IMO. I didnt really see a need to pull the tranny through as well I will just drop it down when I reinstall the motor and install the tranny last maybe that is the hard way.

We keep the stock ECU.

Man, I would hate to do all that wiring. I hope it's done well/properly, last thing you want is to have a problem with one of the connections.

So you have everything except the turbos, right?

Looking great man!!! Can't wait to see your numbers when its all done. My car is just waiting its turn now at the tuner, so I hope to be on the road shortly.

Polishing the timing cover must have taken forever, nice work there.

Got a box from Forged today:BOOBIES: The manifolds and custom downpipes with the HKS DLI II and oil catch can came and the GT-30s from JWT arrived a few days ago so I am ready to start bolting things together and drop it all in.

I also got a couple boxes from Swivel hips thanks Wayne.

I am just about done the custom fuel line.

I am trying to tuck some wires.

My fenders were cut and rolled but I went one step father and rolled them totally flat.

Update:

Well I thought I was starting it last night. We got the fuel system all hooked up and put 3" turn downs after the down pipes. Temporary until we get the exhaust sorted out.

But.....we had a few small fuel leaks we got sorted out, Then we cranked the car over with the fuel pumps off to pump some oil around LETS START THIS BABY, oh we forgot to adjust the fuel pressure regulator so we turn it up to about 40psi and the injectors start leaking:52: that was at 3am so we shut it down. Now I have to pull the intake off and see what the problem is:crying: hopefully I get it running tonight. My wife is getting sick of the car I worked two full weekends in a row and the week inbetween I was working on the car from supper time till after midnight, then I flew to Montreal for work for a week now my first day back I work on the car all night again. I am in a hurry to get it running because Saturday i go to Hinton for work for ten days then home for 2 days then down south for a week of holidays so time is running out I want this thing running so its not on my mind steady.

O ring not seated properly... You will probably be able to see a bit of O ring sticking out if you look carefully as you pull the rails up. Looks like HKS injectors - machined to use stock O rings? Have some spare o rings handy before you start. The ones that get squished are likely torn. You may need to put some grease on them to get them to go in without ripping. (speaking only of the upper ones that go into the rails - the lowers ones usuually are not a problem)

Ok thanks. The upper was machined the lower was not, not sure it the lower needed it. I will have some extra "rings" . I thought I might not have tightened the rails down enough. I guess i will know tonight. Thanks for the input though its nice to hear from guys that have already been through it, i am learning as i go for the most part.

Well it ran today! I drove it for about 1/2 an hour I didn't get the front bumper on and everything buttoned up till about 12:30am or I would have driven it more. It runs good we were mostly road tuning I didn't really get into any boost. I went with 3" dumps off the down pipes for now it sounds insane the turbos whistle like crazy, I hope to have the exhaust finished by Friday or I might have to invest in some ear muffs . My gauges are not working yet so I am going to get them going ASAP I need to wire in the boost controller and install the catch can then hopefully be ready for a full dyno tune on the 10-11th of August.
