SWEET

I am very happy for you and hope you can get on enjoying the car as soon as you get back from your holiday!

How much time was in on the wire tuck? I am starting that project next if I can ever get the audio sorted out. Pics are a must!!!!

ohh jeez, i can just see how your wire tuck is going to end up considering how everything else has gone

thats a lot of cutting and soldering. Maybe do that once your have your car completely running and broken it. Can you imagine the mess if the car didnt run right with the new motor if you did that wire tuck beforehand.....

Thanks it will be better once I get some boost and mufflers. I did a 1/2 a$$ wire tuck. Just the ones that come out of the passanger side battery box i was going to do the other side but I got lazy and I plan on doing it this winter. It was a fair bit of work LOTS of extending and soldering. I am not sure its worth it for me if it was a hardcore show car or if you were going to get the holes that the wires came out of filled(when painting under the hood) it would look better. I will try to get some pictures today. My wife went away for the day so i am doing the parenting, our girls can be a handful if they want and things need to be cleaned before pictures the car has about an inch of dust on it and the under hood still has all of the HKS DLI II wires sitting there. For some reason it would run on 3 cylinders when it was hooked up I didn't **** with it or try to find the problem as soon as I found it was the issue I just unhooked it but left all of the wire harness in place so I might pull it out. I just don't feel like trying o make it work now maybe over winter.

I will give you a pass for a bit then

I remember driving the car with the wastegates open and yes, its VERY LOUD!! Kind of hard to stay low profile when you're making that much noise.

Shariff is right about the stock JWT intercoolers been bottlenecks pushing over 550whp, i have the 700BB and switched to greddy intercooler plus bigger DP's (3") and exhaust and gained 3mph in the 1/4 at less boost.............

Amazing built!!!! congratssssssssssssssss

I am bypassing the whole exhaust system I have XKRs old Forged custom 3.5 down pipes that neck down to 3" and I just have a couple 45* turn downs off them its obscene.

Here are a few pictures I am still working on everything I just got it all running yesterday and I just want to drive it but over the winter I am going to fix and repolish the piping and clean up the wiring.

I am fully aware how lame it is to drive around with the tow hook in I just drove it home from the shop last night and I am about to go find the front bumper plug.

I am starting to think i should just leave the tow hook in as well with the amount it has been used.

I thought I would try the green its something a little different(yes I know different isn't always good) its grown on me now.

Here are pictures of the dumps off the down pipe I have a short video of some light reving the car

I was going to take her for a ride last night, but ended up going myself. I popped a power steering line (i think) it was steaming and had a nice puddle of fluid under the car when I got home last night. I just don't even feel like jacking the car up to have a look. I am at the point where I just want to call the shop drop it off and tell them to have finished and tuned by the time I get back from holidays

I know exactly how you feel. Actually it sounds like a solid plan, that way you won't lose any more of the summer waiting on repairs when you get back.

I never even talked to them and I leave at 3am in the morning. The shop I use is super busy so i doubt I would have got in. I guess I should have tried it would have been sweet to have the car done when i get back. I am so sick of working on it myself a few small projects aren't bad but I took on too much myself and now I am just sick of the car altogether

^^ LOL, i know how you feel. I finally got my brakes bled today after installing my line locks like 2 weeks ago. My fuel filter has been sitting in the living room for weeks in anticipation of my dual pump arriving. I'm not looking forawrd to running that 1 extra line or getting soaked in gas. I was supposed to swap out some AN lines with the parts guy like weeks ago. Hope they still wanna do that as well. And I dont even have my motor or turbo kit yet. That will be another journey in itself i'm sure. If I was where you are, i'd be more than happy!

Thank god I dont work at a shop... well maybe thats why these build take so long....

Well running a car problem free, boosting every day, and just parking it every night ain't no fun either. Actually yes it is.

LOL. That's why Sharif sees my car every winter - yearly upgrades. I've got this HSF-6 in a box (thanks Sam and George!), just arrived and I'm debating if I should install it or just wait till winter. Tough to go back to a "normal car" while the G is on jack stands in pieces. Well, time to go searching for methanol tanks that will fit in the bumper area...
