Default BuiltZMotors Barzten1 Dyno #'s

Finally got the car dynoed for some numbers. Dr Todd and I did some tuning and got it closer to being dialed in. Low boost #s are 445whp and 436lbs torque on 11psi. That was on a 4th gear pull when we should have taken it to 5th gear. Would have probably got another 30 hp out of it. At 17 psi we got 586whp and 575lbs torque. We couldnt get the methanol injection to work properly so we didnt use it. That could have taken us over 600. Thanks Todd for the time and the project and the built motor.

Tod at BuilltZ did up mine a few years back and they did AWSOME work. Great customer service and even worked with me on other engine issues. My baby put down 605whp @ 19.5psi with 589ftlb.

Great choice with BuiltZmotors.

Congrats on the power - clicked on your sig - it appears that builtZmotors appears to be dead or at least the link is.

Thanks guys. Yeah its way different than the Vortech but Ill never knock it. I made good fun usable power with the Vortech. This things just rips and with the 295 Toyo's R888 in the rear it grabs pretty well. I dont remember the exact specs on the motor but I believe its a built longblock. Hoping Dr T will chime in and explain whats in the build. I had to stand in the rear hatch when we were dynoing because the car was sliding on it.

I love that hood. I almost got it off a local but he traded in his car for a 370z and the dealer wanted the car as-is. ah well
