Default EVC 6 tuning

hi guys..

still i am facing some issues setting my EVC 5

due to lack of experienced shops in here with EVC and tuning in general. i tried to use the manual to set it my self. but still its not doing what is supposed to.

after long time searching for someone to help me with it. i found a shop who is a dealer for HKS and he is an authorized tuner for HKS products ( EVC, V-PRO....etc )

anyways, my question is:
he will set the EVC on the dyno, but my concern is boost while tuning.
because when i was trying to set it my self on the street, i noticed that sometimes it over boost till 14psi then drop dramatically to 6 psi. )

so do you guys think.. if the boost hits the 14psi couple of times while tuning. would this cause a damage ??

i have searched alot and couldn't get an answer to my concern.

thanks.

on a stock block, of course a 14 psi over boost could pop your motor, esp if it's knocking

i would assume a decent tuner with evc experience would be able to pre-set the unit so it wouldnt do that.
