Then its just a job of finding the right tunner ......which, after the SGP debacle i dunno who is the place to go in Texas, but i would consider Kyle's (IPP)opinion.
Maybe a 6 psi normal tune and an 8 psi for when I start feeling that IIiiich!! More than likely it'll be a 6 if I do the 3/8 spacer. I forget this kit puts out better numbers than other single turbo kits.

Default Progress

Just an update of good things to come! After looking at the turbo I noticed it probably isn't the GT37R but indeed a 35. Is there a way to find out by looking at the turbo? Never the less, I'm still missing the AC lines, filter tube and filter, Utec, map sensor, and O2 and cable for tuner. Those items are still in the car. I should be removing them this week.

Plans have change slightly. I plan on taking a week off after this week so I'll have plenty of time to get just about everything done and hopefully get it tuned in May after I get a custom 3" exhaust made.
I'm thinking of JIC universal Spartan 505 muffler and custom 3" pipe all the way back. What do you guys think? I can't spend 1300 bucks for an exhaust right now.
Now, I need to make sure I have all the components I need. Spent most of the day polishing IC tubing up. Previous owner didn't use much care when installing and uninstalling. Car sat for about a year before he decided to sell the kit. I'll post up some pics soon. For some reason I can't attach pics at the moment.

if you bought a gt37r kit then i am sure you got that kit.
The gt37r is actually not an off the shelf garrett part, its custom made by Full-Race. http://www.full-race.com/catalog/pro...5a6b6d1012a213
now its basicall ya modified gt35r, so you might get that box, it could be deceiving, but check the link

I'll post some pics tonight. I was able to begin yesterday. removed exhaust, bumper, and CAI. I won't be able to continue till this weekend. I ordered the fuel pump and manual boost controller as well as the throw out bearing and pilot bearing that I will need when installing the exedy clutch and fidanza flywheel. I should have everything I need by the weekend or early next week. Thats when it all begins.

I might be missing a v band. Where would you guys recomend I purchase one for this kit? I am going to see if I can find it somewhere in my friends shop.

Thanks, I'll look into these exhausts. My buddy thought it was a gt37r but it has a filter and the opening is small. Here are some pics. I do not mind. Either/Or its still going on.

1st day of project Powerlab.

I'll continue this weekend.

I'd post pics of the rest of the components but they are used and do not look as pretty as a new kit. all shiny and stuff.

You have a GT35R my friend... nothing to frown about. Capable of 650+whp!

Hey SlideFox, just saw this post. I have not ordered the kit yet but will be soon. I am aware of the separate downpipe because of the steering column however. Any other suggestions before ordering?

is there a big difference in compressor maps between the 35 and 37? The 37 seems kinda superflous unless you are going ***** deep and 650 is not enough. If you really want nutty power, might as well go with the...42? or is it 76? and keep the car strapped to the dyno. I am going to stop around 500 ultimately because I don't think spinning 4th at 100+ would be fun... 475-500 (DD) seems semi-useable on the street
