Powerlab Kit
Just bought a Powerlab kit . I believe it was one of the earlier ones to have come out with the GT37R. The kit has less than 100 miles on it and will be going into an 03 Z with 60,000 miles (stock block). I know this kit has a lot of potential and was wondering what you guys might recommend according to year/model/mileage of vehicle. I only drive my car once or twice a week, if that, so longevity isn't too much of a factor but I hope it'll last long enough to enjoy till I save enough money for a build. For now it'll remain stock. Might take it to the 1/4 mi. track just to see where I stand occasionally. I'll be running a UTEC and a 3" exhaust. Pro tech in Austin will probably be doing the tuning.
Any positive or negative input appreciated.

I'm thinking an 8lb tune. What do you guys think? I'm hoping to make about 400 rwhp but anything better than my 250 rwhp is already a plus.
I'm not planing on running the car till after the tune. I'll take it up on a trailer. Is it ok to turn the car on to make sure it starts and there aren't any leaks? No reving of course (don't want to create any boost).
My good friend has installed several turbonetics kits, and this kit before, so he has first hand knowledge on the install. He'll be there with me through most of the install.
This weekend I'll be checking all the kit to see if I'm missing anything. That way I can order ahead of time.

Why Protech, well its the closest to where I live, good people, and they did a good job on a buddies car recently. Plus, If I spend the night, there's always 6th street. I'll do some more searching though. Who else would you recommend? I'm open to suggestions. I live way down south at the lowest point of Texas.

you are in Chicago right?... check with Chris or Larry @ SP if you need any help(install/tunning)
OP:
i saw you mention u plan on tunning 8psi....are you going with jsut stock block? intense put down ~400whp at 6 psi on stock block and injected has a 490whp car at 8 psi on stock block.... so if your goal is 400...id do 6psi+(jic St + pl 3/8 spacer).
Then its just a job of finding the right tunner ......which, after the SGP debacle i dunno who is the place to go in Texas, but i would consider Kyle's (IPP)opinion.
