It's still paved, just dirty at that end, cause it doesn't get used. no worries - not really gravel. first time I tried to stop on it was scary though. just let the folks with sticky tires get a couple runs in... j/k first job is to examine the entire length and clean it up if needed.

HA!
Mine's not in the ecu....sensor on the steering rack is rotated way off, errors out the VDC a few seconds after startup (which is fine with me, I would just turn it off anyway), but eliminates those problems with burnouts, and brake boosting that us 6spd guys are subject too.
I'm really trying to pull this one off. Just got a call that may impact it, but keepin fingers crossed. Will know by end of week.

Honestly if you don't waste a lot of space lining up, it's not that bad. You can get a good run in. Enough to determine if it's a close race, or not. I got hosed starting at 55-60 mph last year, but I'll be better prepared this year.

Last year, most of us did some quick solo runs just to feel out the track, check traction and braking zones. 130-140mph should be no problem for the high powered guys, and still provide a fair amount of room for braking. But don't mess around...after the run....get on the brakes HARD. If you tease the brakes, you might find yourself in the bushes.

With one of my rides with Mike, we got up to 130ish, he jumped on the brakes, and then decided the Rotora 12 pots did their job so well, there was room to accelerate again before finally stopping!
