My last one was over 600 RWHP on 93 octane. I am guessing this one will get closer to 700 RWHP on 93 octane, maybe 750-800 with meth. We shall see.

Paul at New Wave Fabrication in Boynton Beach built it for me. His tel. no. is (561) 740-2393.

Here is the finished part:

Here is a link to the thread that has the drawings in post #34 for anybody else who is interested:

Both Sam at GTM and Roger at Japtrix are recommending larger cams for me.

Accordingly, I will sell my JWT C2 cams (they fit VQ35DE heads) with only 1,000 miles on them for $900 firm + shipping. To keep things simple, the FIRM price is $930 shipped to the continental U.S. With my Greddy 18G TT 3.5 L build, I made over 600 RWHP with these on a Mustang dyno.

Here are their specifications:

11.58 mm Peak Lift
225 deg. Dur. at 0.050" lift
261 deg. Adv. Dur.

If anyone is ready to buy them NOW AND AT THE ASKING PRICE, please PM me. I would like to sell them this week. If they are not sold by the time the heads go back together, I will use them and they will no longer be for sale.

I also have eagle rods (with ARP bolts) and ARP main studs for sale, also with 1,000 miles on them. I am asking $550 FIRM if picked up from Japtrix. FIRM price shipped to the continental U.S. is $575. If you buy them with the cams, package price is $1,350 Firm if picked up. Again, to keep things simple, the FIRM package price is $1,390 shipped to the continental U.S.

PLEASE DO NOT PM ME ANY OFFERS LESS THAN THE ASKING PRICE.

The new build looks great...I know the feeling when it comes to the wifey situation. I now have a bank account that she knows nothing about .

I'm guessing you're a plaintiff lawyer specializing in P.I.

Maybe Alberto will be kind enough to teach me a thing or two about his shifting method.

I'm going to bring WOT shifting on line again, but not until I have tested, tested and re-tested at low RPMs. Since I have a new F-CON going in, I don't want the same thing to happen to me as last time. If I damage this motor, I better not come home; my wife might pull a Lorena Bobbit on me. That might not be problem though; Roger will be so pissed he'll probably leave my @ss there anyway. My broken down car at the ariport will become my new home. If they have Wi-Fi, it will also be my new office. To be on the safe side, I better start preparing to take the North Caroline bar exam.
Terry,

I could not stop laughing, because I know the feeling. My girl said she will kill me if I do anything else to my car.

Intellectual Property (Patents, Trademarks and Copyrights)

I'd slit my own throat before I'd do P.I.

Besides, how many P.I. Attorneys design these?????

^^^^^^^^^^

FYI, crimping one of those RJ-11 connectors while forgetting to unplug the cable from my first F-CON is how I caught it on fire.

Also, in lieu of the 10 GPH injectors, which were intended to inject methonal before the plenum, I am changing to direct port meth injection setup using a 6 port manifold and a 250 cc/min. injector in each port.

To be more accurate, the coolers themselves are not custom, just all of the plumbing between the oil coolers and the motor. If I get a chance to snap some pictures before the bumper goes on, I will do so.

Crimping should not cause a short should it? Even with that said, sounds like poor circuit design in the FCON to permit a cabling error potentially to initiate a fire. I guess disconnecting the battery is always a good idea prior to any electrical work though...

edit: nice diagrams though! hope to catch that beast of yours at ZdayZ!

In the RJ-11 cable, there are 4 wires. The F-CON uses two of the wires to communicate data to the Navigator, and the other two to provide power to the Navigator (positive and ground). The RJ-11 crimper that I have crimps all 4 pins in the plug simultaneously with a single metal bar. When I re-crimped the plug (I evidently did not crimp it all the way the first time), the metal bar shorted all four pins together, thereby providing a short circuit between positive and ground. Unfortunately, the F-CON does not have an internal fuse on that power wire, and internally it uses a paper insullated ribbon cable for all of the wires. The F-CON was able to provide enough current during the short circuit to heat the wires enough to catch the paper insulation on fire.

I can probably cut out the side of the ribbon cable that caught fire and replace those wires with new wires, but I don't know what other damage may have been done. Specifically, I don't know if shorting the power wire to the data lines may have damaged the ICs. I'll mess around with it in a few months to see if I can repair it. I'm not optimistic that the cable is the only thing damaged, but maybe I got lucky.

Oh, thanks.. looking for the pics anyway. I am considering a oil pre-charger/pre-oiler in the mix (ie oil cooler, pre-charger/pre-oiler) for longivity.
