****** TTG35forT - Rev 2.0 ******

Update - my car has been in queue at Japtrix for about a month now waiting for them to clear out the work in front of me. It looks like we are getting close. I'm waiting for Roger to confirm a date when he will start on my car. Hopefully it will be soon. Although I would like to have the car back this summer, I doubt that will be the case. We'll see how things proceed at Japtrix. There is a lot of work to do on my car. When they are done, it then needs to go back to the paint shop for touch-up, etc.

Man. U really think u won't have it back this summer? I was hoping to get mine back before the end of summer, but I'm behind u (still gotta get her up there)! Oh well. Might as well add more things to the build!

We'll see. Maybe Roger will surprise me. Not all of this is in their control, though, like the body shop. I'm hoping once they start on my car they will keep on it until it is done. If that happens, it should be sooner.

Nov. 2008 - I blow my last motor and immediately sent my car to Japtrix on a flat bead.
Jan. 2009 - Japtrix finally gets block, etc. over to So. Fla. Crank and Machine - Motor is supposed to take 3-4 weeks. My motor keeps getting bumped back for the race teams they support.
April 2009 - I finally get sick of getting bumped and pull the job. I order through GTM.
August 2009 - I decide to have GTM flat deck the block. It turned out to be far more complicated than they anticipated and turns into an 8 month project. Motor finally ships April 2010.
May 2010 - Waiting for Japtrix to get through their backlog to get to my place in the queue.

The pistons are 97mm. The stroke is 92mm.
I didn't sleeve because I'm running road courses, and have heard of overheating issues with sleeved motors. I think for street use and 1/4 mi. use the sleeved block will be fine. I also would have Darton install the sleeves. They designed the sleeves and probably have the most experience installing them. A while back there was a rumor floating around that you wanted to use Darton's west coast facility, not their east coast facility, for sleeve installation.

" I spoke to Ryan. Turns out you sleeved this block 2.5 years ago. Who knows. Maybe just a weak casting or something "
Also below that is some pics of none sleved block that had the same exact failure. We have seen three block so far cracking in the vally area .
