I heard the same thing about Jeremey leaving AAM and taking techs with him. I heard this rumor 3 weeks ago now. So there must be some credibility to this, or whoever started it back then really got the rumor mill in overdrive......now question, does anyone named alex work at aam?

maybe the 'tech' didn't leave yet (until JT opens the shop perhaps) and we all just totally screwed them over.
that is what I think just happened and I now feel terrible for ruining their surprise. sorry 'guys' you are now going to be fired I bet. I don't want to name the 'tech' that was planning on leaving.

I'm just kidding, why would Clint ever go with JT to SUNNY GORGEOUS Florida? - a guy he bonded with and got along with very well while living next door to and who has to be fed up working at AAM by this point but has retained his personal reputation with great aplomb over his tenure on this site? it's all speculation at this point, but if i was Mike (and I am not, be sure of this. stop the Pms) I would be giving a close eye to Clint in the coming weeks.
Being able to open a brand new shop with a respected tuner and probably getting an ownership stake (and actually getting a paycheck on time) has to be a juicy prospect, right?
note: this also might be a rumor I am starting but I am no gay fish.

Didn't one of the AAM guys start there own shop called Hills Garage ?
I could have swore I met a G37 TT owner who's car was originally started by AAM but ended up at Hills.
I remember because the guy seemed pretty sour about the whole AAM experience.
There were also some talk of jeremy by the fire on friday night about jeremy coming back to florida but then again there was talk that jeremy was at ZdayZ as well. So, I guess all rumors weren't true.

Listen guys, there is really no drama. Jeremy came back to Florida and if he works at another shop, it will be a small operation and probably geared towards a more all around performance shop. There is no way that any of the guys would make a big move down to Florida to work at his shop. I mean, the move alone costs thousands of dollars. Clint is a really smart guy and wants to eventually finish up his Philosophy doctorate. He would love to teach Philosophy one day and also talking your girl of 4+ years into dropping her career and stable job to take a chance and move to Florida to work for a shop that is not even open just doesn't make sense. Jeremy and Clint joked around about how great Florida was but you can't just leave your whole world/family behind for a possible job at some new small shop when you have a great job at a large shop with a lot of job security. Jon loves it there and as amazing as he is at his job, I don't think anyone would move to Florida to take great pictures and update a website. Alex is one of the best machinist/parts designer in the world, but is also married and has a nice condo that he couldn't just get up and leave. The tech David and Jeremy became great friends, but he also has a young child and a girl with a really good job and they can't just leave Maryland due to a possible employment offer 8 states away. Just think realistically, how long would a shop have to be established for you to move 1000 miles away to work for? It's funny to speculate and instigate when it has nothing to do with you, we all know this. This time though, there is nothing to hide, no drama, and no great story to tell....
PS- Jeremy is not opening his own shop. If anything, he is going to work for a new shop here as the General Manager.
