your not a vendor, nor a sponsor of the site, have less than 100 posts, supposedly own your own performance shop, and your putting other members of this forum down???? Sounds like a great business decision to do so....hey did you ever have a previous forum name?? if so was it mraturbo?????????lol

it wasn't really a shot to you.. it was a shot to Mr. SuperTuner selling shock and awe in a wet paper bag to people.. here are the real numbers from his last thread

https://my350z.com/forum/forced-indu...k-miles-2.html

He posted his numbers and the correction factor so anyone who knows how to do simple math should be able to figure it out. Not to worried about if you are just lazy or we-todd-did but here it is

1) 9.5psi the car made 448whp 444tq on 91 octane
2) 13psi the car made 560whp 562tq on 114 octane
3) 16psi-15psi the car made 597whp 618tq 114 octane

With a correction factor of 1.18 that means the raw numbers are

1) 380, 2) 474, 3) 506

Gee my brain hurts now

Edit:

Oh and the comment about a correction factor at the track, WOW, not sure where you race but that is the most bizarre thing I think I have ever heard
506whp on 114 Octane .. wow big difference now isn't it

For validity I think the OP needs to post track slips. or HP with PSI numbers. (uncorrected )

The correction factor is because in thinner air they need more PSI to obtain the same power correct???

the numbers i posted were from his original thread he is beating up his chest about making 597whp 618tq.. which uncorrected is 506whp..

i'm all for pioneers in this game.. we all want to learn a different and easy way to do things.. but don't come on here posting big numbers selling hopes and dreams without telling the full truth behind it..

if you came here and told me you could make 597whp on a stock block for 40k miles i would be impressed and i would love to learn how you did it, however if you came here and told me you made 506whp on a stock block for 40k miles i would say thats nice, but its been done before for quite a while now.. good luck on your endevours.. God Forbid he gets a customer not from Colorado who bought on to his smoking mirrors then comes back to sea level and BOOM.. whats the point of spending money so far away when you can get the same numbers local?

its all about cylinder pressure...........the air in colorado because of its elevation is no where near as dense as the air down here in NC.......therefore your hp to boost psi is substancially lower in colorado................. meaning they can run more boost to make the same amount of power because how thin the air is!!

Wow a lot of people are viewing this thread. I'm with doug on this one. I want to hear how they can compensate for A. The uncorrected number issue and B. How many thousands of miles they ran @ 567whp.

What would help the tuner would be a record of how many high mileage or low mileage cars he's tuned on stock blocks with these high whp and tq #s and for how many miles each has gone.

If let's say he's done ten VQs and they're out there unharmed folks might be interested in what he's doing to keep the engine survival rates where he mentions they are

Doug, once again we meet. How do you want me to feed it to you today with a spoon or a fork? I dont know what the record numbers were before or how much people put down, I keep asking and I dont get a answer. I dont post much on here, I just lurk around and see what ******** is fed to people. I am not going to sit here and argue, the car will be going to the track soon, just waiting on the slicks to come in. You guys determine from there how much power its making. I posted the corrected numbers with the correction factor, simple math. Doug didnt you blow up a few motors before it finally became right? In every blow up did you look into why it blew up? I hope people are not fed the ******** yea this motor only holds 400hp thats why it will blow up. There is nothing I do is different.

Fuel System
Managment System
Tuner

I am not saying am the best out there, there are a whole alot better guys out there, when you're ready to get tuned, shop around first and see how long those cars are lasting per the tuner, what type of cars has he tuned etc etc.

1.18 correction, jebus. I am pretty sure it was 586 with no correction. More whp than yours. Settle down. 400whp is the general rule of thumb for a car that is going to be driven often........and not blow up. Come back in 2 months when the car blows up and the owner wants answers. Can it hold 600whp, sure, but why risk it. Post up the graph or simmer down.

Why wouldn't you want to solicite business? It isn't against forum rules to post up a dyno of your customers cars as long as you don't overtly push for business....i.e company banners and signatures.

Thats what I needed to know, 586whp who did it? The owner knows there is a risk of the motor blowing up, I didnt tell him it was ok to do. He said lets go for it, once we hit 12psi I sent him a text with the numbers he replied back saying Keep going. Screw the graph, I will post the whole video up soon. With you guys I know we needed a video.
