I know function tuned made 586 on a dynodynamics which would be in the 625-640 range on a dynojet, but I don't know if that is the record.

I guess 465.1 (too be specific....lol)

Haha, you guys are funny. I turned my stock block 113k mile greddy 18g kit to 16psi and I tried to blow it up and didnt (I got bored and parted the car out, check my thread its here, this 06 actually made more on less boost). 586whp on a dynodynamics doesnt tell me ****, I have seen a dynodynamic dyno showing more than a dynojet before.so 586uncorrected? or corrected? come on need to know some digits. Plus track times too. Isnt it 11.0 on the stock motor so far?

9+ pulls on the dyno, 3pulls on the track, 5 pulls on the street, sounds like a brand new car still.

Keep it up hope more people start doing this with similar results to show previous blown engines were results of lack of tuning/inexperience on our engines.

Exactly my point. Thank you.

To the one who called me I am full of ****, are you one of the sour 400hp blown motor vqs? If you are I feel your pain, I would be pissed too if I blew up at such low numbers.

There are also freak motors... I hope you wouldnt lie about something like this, it would be pointless, but I dont think there are many people who had the same results pushing that much boost in a stock engine...

Well we thought my 03 with 113k miles had a freak motor in it, there is a whole thread about it here. My customer asked me to go ahead with a race gas tune on his and I did. He asked me to break my numbers. I got nothing to lie about or hide. The car even spun the tires on the dyno. VQ motors are strong. I just want to get my point across, I will do it again and again. I even picked up a dirt cheap 05 Z probably wont be till next year before I do anything with it but I will push my damn limits with the car once again to get a point across.

I am not releasing any info in this thread, just because I am not a vendor on the site and its not fair for the other vendors who pay to be on here. We have video of the car on the dyno, I will post it up soon.

You will definetly love it, good fuel system, decent managment system and a good tuner you will have plenty of fun. You do your maintenance on time and she will take care of you

My 03 350Z 113K MILES 597WHP 618TQ (1.18CF) 16PSI been boosted since roughly at 75k miles to 113k miles, ran at 9psi for the whole time, till the last i want to say 500-1k miles of when I decided am going to blow it up. It saw drag/track/drift. I parted the car out, still drives around with the new owner that couldn't be any happier for buying it at a good deal(knowing that it was abused in the past).

The car 2006 mentioned above has about 10k miles on it, been boosted for 2500miles, still fresh and has alot more to go.

P.S You guys might not care about this, but thought to throw it in there too to show you that not only this could be done on VQ motor, we also got a 95 Honda Civic hb with a bone stock Integra GSR 167k mile swap in it, arp headstuds is all its got, has a little T3/T4 60-1 Turbo, weighed in at 2400lbs on 15psi e85 ran a 10.52@137 with a highest trap of 138mph with over 80passes on the motor. People call us crazy for doing this.

Yes sir stock block with just nismo cams, I corrected my mileage in the above post, my bad on that part. I heard the same too about the rods I decided to test for myself, I had a incident were the fuel pump let go on me and went very lean and also getting bad fuel from one of the pumps here locally, so I did get into situations were the motor should have blown up and it didn't. The reason why I question the ones blowing up at 400whp.

im somewhat in the similar boat car wise: jwt tt installed at 60k miles and pushing 93k and my main concern is the rods. but the guy who has tuned my car is notorious for making machines that last. so i have faith in that. what fuel system are you running in your car?
