06 350Z Greddy TT Bone stock motor 14.5psi
some pretty crazy numbers... i know GTM's HR test car made 583 whp @ 14psi. My engine seemed to be putting out a little better numbers than their test car. Wonder with race gas and 14psi what my numbers would look like.
Sorry didnt mean to jump all over your thread just pretty impressed with these numbers and the strength of the engine.

oh wow, aren't you guys so good, lol I think I posted it up in my other thread, man that was so hard to find wasn't it. You know who I really miss reading his posts was Jeremy from performance factory. Was a good guy.
Don't get testy young man..I'm not bashing you or your shop or High Altitude Videos. I would like to see some vids. Don't make yourself look foolish because you seem to do good work and you know how my350z is, it can bite you in the @ss(even if it is only the internet)
Oh I know, i got nothing against you sir. I think I followed your Z build from way back, what got my attention was the fact you were auto. Wanted to see how far you'll take it. Yea I definetly know how my350z works. The reason why I don't post much except every now and then. Time to get to work...
Let me say this much, I bought a trans from him, had a problem, he was going to fly out here and rebuild it with me... When I cracked it open and saw that it wasn't worth rebuilding he got me another one in two days... I'd say that's pretty stand up right there if you ask me. Even if the numbers are only 380, 474, and 506 corrected, those are still good numbers to have on stock block.
I agree with some of the previous statements also, it's all in the tune, i'm running 430whp and i've got 5000+ miles since the install already and it drives great, not to mention I drive it hard. Others get 375whp and blow up in a 1000 miles, so every situation is different. Sure i'm going to build it at some point, but the bottom line is that if you have a good tuner; forged, ip, intense, pfs and you have all the right mods that work with each other, you will be fine for 450whp and under.
I respect Doug's opinion and the correction is something for the majority us which we want to see, but anyone can do the math and figure it out.

Thats what I needed to know, 586whp who did it? The owner knows there is a risk of the motor blowing up, I didnt tell him it was ok to do. He said lets go for it, once we hit 12psi I sent him a text with the numbers he replied back saying Keep going. Screw the graph, I will post the whole video up soon. With you guys I know we needed a video.

Great #'s for sure, that's no joke for up here at 6k feet! Edited post as long post is pointless with the forever debate of correct vs uncorrected.

Wooo can't wait to see the video! I'm growing more and more jealous of you FI Z's here in CO...
To the haters - Moe does a lot of work for us locals and builds some absolutely BA cars that actually get abused at the drag strip, road track, and drift lot on a regular basis. Comparing him to MrS is a ridiculous and asinine assumption. Moe has A SHOP, A LICENSE, etc etc. He posted the numbers and the correction factor, so what? He's not here to sell XXXwhp turbo installs with mythical Nismo studs and muffler bearings. His customer wanted to push the limits of the stock RevUP longblock on a Greddy 18g kit running Q16, and that's the info being shared in this thread.
Anyone who hasn't driven a Z at 5000ft elevation has no idea the kind of difference air density makes up here. I bought my Z while I was living in Oregon and shipped it here when I moved to Ft. Collins about a year later. Even after an ECU reset, the car just feels robbed of its original power.
Keep pushing the limits and posting the progress Moe!!!
PS - I heard some rumor about a chassis with Kaizo Industries stamped on it coming to CO, when do we get to find out more info on that??!!!!

Citrus yes I did pick up a kaizo chassis, should be ready here soon in the coming weeks, I cant wait and thank you for the kind words.
Scott? Is that you again?....You and you're voodoo motors.....
Either that or your customer bought his Z at the mysterious Voodoo Z shop.
Are you really questioning the F:T numbers? why? Believe it...all the stuff is there....UNLIKE IN THIS THREAD.
Why are you so concerned with "beating the numbers"? "Little man syndrome"? Why not be concerned with making your customer happy and leave the motor in the car for him? Multiple reputable tuners/shops have tested this and shown their results. What makes you better or different? Are you saying they're incompetent and their tests were poor?
As someone said before motor failure can be caused by many different things or events. FYI Not just the lack of your Super Amazing tuning skills.
I call BS like others. ESPECIALLY with the air in Denver....I know b/c I actually have driven thru there in my F/I Z.
What dyno are you running this on? Tuning it with a Utec?

. I thought we were supposed to get videos, but no.
I got you all beat I ran my stock block at 27 psi and 17:1 a/f. What now !
Needless to say it blew but hey it made sick power for 500 ft.
Wtf does it matter how much u make on a stock block. Its just a ticking time bomb.
