Finally ran my car at the track last night.....
This was my first time running my Z at the track. I will be going out there again so this was just a chance for me to get a feel for my car. The first thing I found out is that street tires just don't cut it so I'm now in the market for some drag radials or slicks. I ran three times. My first I spun the tires mostly hoping for traction but that never happened and ran a 14.2 @ 105. The second run I shifted slow and didn't spin as much but still was far from perfect and ran a 13.3 @ 112. Both of these runs started with poor 2.3 60ft times. I finally cut a decent 2.1 60ft time on my third run but my cog belt gave out and I lost my supercharger so I ran a 13.9 @ 94 I know there is a lot more in this car with better tires but this was to get an idea of where I am. If you see this Alberto, what rim and tire setup were you running back in your turbonetics days? They seemed like something much better than just a drag radial. I need to at least get some sub 2 sec 60fts and be able to power / shift without out fear of the tires breaking loose and hitting the wall.
P.S. Sorry for the long videos. I tried to edit them but youtube couldn't accept that format. Oh and yes I was owned by my traction control twice

There is alot left in your setup.I have the same problem with my 19's as i get no traction at all.Back when i was only at 5.5 psi and no valve body mod all i could do was 13.0 at 110mph.I did nothing but bounce off the rev limiter which killed my times.
I have a v/b mod and 9psi now but havent made it back out to the track yet.
