tyler is running a vortech, in terms of what an exhaust sounds like, he is basically the same as a N/A setup. Like I posted before, having the turbos will quiet down, and eliminate any rasp on any setup you get...

The easist way to get around the inspection is to have your car lowered enough so it wont go over the rollers with out tearing your bumper off.I have had my last one extended 2 years for free.

I sat in line for about 20 minutes and when i was next the guy said pull around to the side and get a waiver cause your to low.

what kind of reliablity can be expected from this setup?? the car has almost 40k on it before any turbo work and it'll be my DD ? how many miles can it be trusted for?

if you don't already know that the number of miles it can be "trusted" is ZERO, you need to start over on your research.... like Barnabas said, it could be 300 miles or 30,000..... or maybe it just le's go during the original tune

there are no gaurantees and reliability isn't used in the same sentence as turbos.

ur gonna get flamed if u dont do more research, but really not a great question to ask its been talked about alot on here..so many different factors play into that....from installation to tuning and everywhere in between to how it is used and abused....i installed my kit at 30k miles and now have 42k problem free..knock on wood, i daily drive my car also and commute to work and everything and have brought it to the drag strip a number of times and other events, i take very good care of it though and im not driving around like a tard wide open all the time and i keep up on all maintenance prolly more than even needed..

Ok I guess I will throw my 2 cents in on this since I went through this myself. Good job on deciding on Forged. They have good customer service andwill not oversell you on stuff.

I sent my 2004 350z with 54k daily driven miles to Sharif in December 2007. We talked extensively about parts, what I would and would not need. There were a few things I thought I needed that Sharif corrected me on and saved me money instead of just saying hell yeah and ringing up the bill. I told him I wanted a "reliable" 400whp stock block setup. In my mind I wanted to spend around $12k, but ended up spending closer to $17k due to my own decisions by adding extra stuff such as gauges, 3in. down pipes, sway bars, etc.

I made 405whp on Sharif's DD dyno. I never had a motor issue related to my build. I enjoyed the car immensely. If you have questions feel free to ask.

Oh on the registration question it only matters where you have your car registered as far as emissions go. My cars stay registered in GA so I don't have to worry about that stuff no matter where I am stationed. You get to ignore any stupid laws around where you are based due to this. Never had an issue in my 8 years in Army so far.

I sold the car with 78k miles on the odometer to a local friend. Only issue has been with the weaksauce tranny in that year model, he just had to replace that. Forged just did the work I think on that too. I drove the car hard, daily driving, track events, mountain runs, etc.
