hi guys is it possible to fit de heads to a hr block as we run a autronic sm4 and it will not run the ex cam on the hr motor. thanks

 

I know you can put HR heads on a DE, but I don't know about the other way around. Swap the Autronic for a ViPEC and you could control both sets of cams I believe.

Have you been running an HR motor w/o the variable cams already?

 

I wonder if a revup would be able to control that since there is sensor for exhaust cams and intake cams.

 

hi we are running a forged vq35de with a gt4094 was looking at the the hr for the stronger bottom end and more revs u could run, the engine is only used in a racecar

 

As this is a race motor I asume you are using new cams. Just lock up the exhaust cam in the degree position that gives the most power on the dyno in your intended rev range. It will throw a CEL but no problems on a racecar

we are running a tko600 tremec that leaks a lot of oil the car is a space frame toyota levin jdm the vq35 is mid mounted

 

Anyone ever find this out?
