New winter new turbo build

Wastegates will be 38mm for the base kits (6062 turbos) and 44mm for the kits with a 6262 turbos.

I was thinking about that too. The 38mm should be fine for all applications in this case. In theory, you would want a smaller w/g with the bigger turbo, beacause you are looking for most of the exhaust gas to go through the turbine anyway.
Maybe I will change that, it sure would make things simpler. Just one way of doing things.
I have a $ number in mind as to how much I want to make as profit per kit. So, any savings like this $100 would reflect in the final price of the kit.

Everytime I check this thread I so want to order a kit. Just need to figure out how to spend 5k+ on my car without my wife noticing.

Looking good... I had a convo with Injected last week. The Z will be there on the 15th of December through the new year. Should have something Concrete in late Jan.
I am looking forward to seeing what the upper limit of this turbo kit is. I have told Injected to make the necessary support.

Well, I was hoping to have everything close to done this weekend. Unfortunetly the intercoolers got held up at the border for some reason. I expect them to be here on Monday, then I can get the IC to TB piping done.
All should be ready to go by November 30th and ready to ship. This will work out well because shipping will take a week to two weeks.
I had to rush a scavenge pump here as well because the place that I ordere 3 from is still on back order. Not sure why it's taking so long.
I will get all that I can done this weekend though.

The intercoolers finally came in today, so I got right to it. At first, do to the size I thought it wouldn't fit the way I want it too. After putting it on some blocks in what I though was a good position, and making a few brackets it will all work out well.
It is tight, and at first I thought that trimming to the inside of the bumper would be neccessary, but it all turned out well. Tight fit but it's a good fit. I really like this setup do to the fact that the entire core is exposed to the oncomming air. A few pictures:
At first I was worried that I wouldn't be able to make the tight turn on the top towards the TB. This was a big thing for me. I really didn't want to run that piping down, around and up through the fender area.
I am now waiting for the scavenge pump, and that should be here in a day or two. Look forward to a finished kit on Sunday.
Basically now that one is done the rest is easy. All the "problems" have been solved and I know exactly what to buy for each kit. This is will be the setup for built motors, the intercooler for stock blocks will be the same configuration but smaller. IC piping will for stock blocks (stage I) will be 2.5" as well, this is plenty big for 500whp.
I have also found some great turbo inlet flanges. Basically, one will be able to bolt up a T3 or a T4 furbo to the same flange. This will allow for upgrading for down the road, without having to take anything off the car.
