LOL no honda just was wondering if it made better power and looking for different designs and the different set ups.

Figured it could be a little different on a Z my buddies Evo has one and I have never seen one on a Z before thought it would be interesting.

Just looked at the Quamen set up and wasn't exactly what I mean by front mount.

I was looking for something mounted up front by the FMIC.

I love Hondas!!!.... I bought a Z knowing that the value would drop right about now and I would be ahead of the game as my HOMies migrated to the dark side!

There is someone who made an ST with the turbo upfornt mounted directly to the intercooler.

extra piping does not equal better performance.

i mentioned honda because they are the only one that use front mount setups regularly.

Honestly, you just wanna put it there bc it looks cool. dont lie

drag car with twin 80+mm's in the place of fog lights is the bomb looking.

more pics here
http://www.stenodperformance.com/gal...s.php?album=44

there a NO production kits for our cars. everything is 1 off
this is Injected's car. Not a front mount

Acctually with my idea that i am looking at will use about a half of the usual piping.
I think I might frankenstine a kit lol.
and yes i do think it looks cool.
i have a GT42R sitting in my garage i picked up off a friend for $350
so it could be an interesting build just for something different but we will see.
but I might sell the 42R cause its a little big if you ask me lol.
can you say 100mph role races.
great now i sound like a supra driver
jkjk

but on a serious note id like to see a 350z build thread with a front mount turbo.
so i can fabricate something up.
Link me please

There is someone out there with a red z that fabbed one up that had a turbo under the driver side headlight. Not sure who it was though.

Just set your HP goals and do it. Come up with your own idea/desighn and start cutting/welding. If you know what you are doing something good will come of it. It has been done before, so give us something unique/different.

Another custom build:

best bet is to make forward facing manifolds. do that 1st, utilizing the stock manifolds will cause so many bends. again K.I.S.S. applies.

Good luck, and make sure you post pics of the build. We are all suckers for those DIY's.

It will be a single turbo kit.... So basically from why I can tell on the powerlabs kit doesn't run off the manifold it replaces the stock cats but I could be wrong I really need a pic of the turbo side set up put of the engine by but can't seem to find one
