Well i spoke to sharif yesterday while he was on the dyno. They definitely spool slower then the 18g's i believe he said they hit full boost at 4500. He's got a wastegate (16lb) base tune putting down 540whp and we've decided to pull the meth and go med boost pump then high boost c16. I'd imagine today or tomorrow we'll have some more info.

well aniel pagan told me i was getting the 82Hta upgrade but on the invoice sharif sent me it said 76hta. SO i'm not really sure, i'm leaning towards sharif being the accurate one. I'm sure he'll chime in here.

^^^turbos gotta spool a little bit more to be in its effciency range. we hit 558 whp on our mustang dyno on the 72 or 74 hta upgrade on 17 psi from forced over the weekend @ 6100 to 6200. spool is def. later but its more managable on the street. we are gonna be turning it up to right about 21 to 22psi this friday and see what it will do.

These are the upgradesthey offer for the Greddy Turbos:
Upgrade TD06 to 68mm Compressor HTA
Upgrade TD06 to 76mm Compressor HTA, 67mm Turbine
Upgrade TD06 to 82mm Compressor HTA, 67mm Turbine
Mine are being upgraded to the 76mm as we speak. The email I got said upgrade TD06 not TD05, so I don't know if they upgrade the cover or if the upgrade is the same for the TD05s and the TD06 compressor housing and they just list them together. I couldn't get inducer and exducer sizes from Aniel, but based on the standard comp/turbine wheels the 18g comes with I guessed that the numbers are for the exducer on the comp and inducer for the turbine. I went off of Sharif's thoughts on the upgrade based on Scout's Z and went with the 76 HTA.

so the 76HTA some sort of bastard GT3076 compressor with a GT35r turbine
The 82HTA is just a GT3582.
be interesting to see the housings. big wheels, small housings = ????
here's a typical 3076 setup.

Looks right on par with that 550 at 16psi Scout is making with a DJ>DD conversion

IslandZavage-
I can't remember exactly what was said, so I will let Sharif give his opinions on the turbos, but they were positive.
str8dum1-
Aniel said that the housing had to be machined and to make sure the threads/studs on the turbine housing were in good shape and not stripped so they can bolt it done to machine it correctly.
I beleive I read somewhere that the A/Rs for the greddy turbos are as follows:
8 cm- .57 A/R
10 cm- .73 A/R
12 cm- .89 A/R
14 cm- 1.05 A/R
so it should sppol a little quicker than a GT3076 with the .64 A/R, as long as they keep the TD05 comp housing and just machine it for the bigger wheel.
