Good luck with your project, I'm sure you will invent new curse words along the way.

So new injectors, quite alot bigger then stock, i didnt realize the difference.

New injectors hooked up with stock fuel rail

So while I may be decent at performing mechanical services, I fail hard at anything electronic. This is confusing the **** out of me, I would like suggestions on how to hook up the new plugs to the injectors

You look like you have RC injectors, just like mine...since you're not electrically inclined I would suggest buying their denso adapters so you can just plug it in and not have to solder it in...

You may be able to buy these adapters cheaper at other places...

If you want, send them to me in Edmonton. I will solder it all up for you. No charge, you just pay the shipping. I did this for a living and went to school for it, so I am good at it.

My roomate can solder but he is very ill and very busy all the time, so if that is starting to be something i need done super fast i will send it to you sasha. Ive seen your build thread, so i beyond trust your work... probly would have gotten your kit if i didnt get the sfr one.

But update: No pictures today will take pictures when i make real progress. However I have started the process of taking off the drivers side header + Cat... so much rust... and i am starting to wish that i had pulled the engine. There is one screw on the header that just makes me want to

wow, if you are having problems there, have fun with the rest.

You are also going to need a really long 8mm hex on a socket to tighten the 4th bolt on the turbos to the headers. may even wanna try studding the header and using nuts.

pulling the motor just makes putting the headers on properly easier. the challenge is when everything is back in the back and getting the turbos and charge pipes aligned and bolted

Sorry for the delay with updates. I got my *** handed to me by school, work and the girlfriend so i haven't had a lot of time to work on my car. I don't know how many people are still following this however... I can spare maybe 2-3 hours a week to work on it so progress is slow... but tonight I am hooking up the passenger side Headers+ turbo and if i have time the Dump as well. Ill post pictures

few more hints in nor particular order....

make sure you install the dump tube before you put up the turbo.

You'll have to figure out a way to get to the 4th bolt connecting the turbo to the header. YOu might want to try using bolts instead of the allen heads.

make sure you have your oils lines on also before mounting the turbo and in such orientation that they dont hit the housing when the turbos are up.

I would also take that silver metal piece off the motor mounts for more room.

Have you tried shoving that flex hose for the passenger turbo on yet? Make sure you can get that on. You'll want to have that already on the turbo before you mount it.

Cutting that silicon hose for the driver's side intake will also take a good bit of time as well. start too long and work your way down. You will probably have to grind an 'ear' off the upper oil pan to make enough room to fit the clamp on there.

its easier to work if you take that black metal tube brace off the bottom of the car. Chances are you'll have to grind that as well if your turbos are clocked in a particular way.

make sure to leave that bolts on the turbos loose when you mount them. YOu'll have to move the CHRA to be able to get to that 4th bolt.

oh, make sure you are 100% sure thats the clutch you want, as you basically have to take everythinig off to remove the tranny.

Sorry nothing got posted last night, the internet went out. So I really don't know how SFR got all of this to fit in. Couldn't get the header to go in with the wastegate on... so had to put in the header with out the waste gate then reassemble it. Once that happened the header its self wont go onto the headers screws, so i had to take those out pull up the header and put them in, i have it on for the most part but it seems to be caught on something...

Oh and the instructions that come with the turbo have a few pictures and are not that detailed ahah. My cosworth plenums instructions are more detailed.

Sounds like a real PITA...glad I don't have to do it.

Not sure why the are still using the old school wastegates. Just comparing the two:

I use the one on the right, very easy to lighn things up because there are no bolts.

Yup, that is all it would take. 8 hours at most, keep in mind that I don't have to look at the instructions... Just pass me the wrenches..

You guys are nuts for doing this on your own in the middle of the winter... I can see blood in the pics above! Props though and good luck!
