And so it begins...Finaly!
You don't need that black steel bar do you? I would just leave that off since there's no room for it.
Or just move it over 2 inches - plenty of room to the left side there...
I just paid Forged and they made it look easy.
You can't tell from this pic but there is a big gouge taken out of the downpipe to get it to clearance properly - one heck of a welding job.

Looks a little high to be long tubes
Edit: Wow i didnt think the clearance was so close for the steering, and if i dont get it done by april im paying some one to finish it ahaha

he was just joking about his JWT setup also having problems with the steering column. obviously there's no downpipe that can be easily notched to help with fitment.
get that flex hose on yet? might not be so hard with 60-1's.

Yeah, just rubbing it in.
Even with my log headers and tiny turbos it's a tight fit. A sledge hammer, eh? NICE! That must be cathartic.

I have not had a chance to work on it since we last talked (Im at school bored in class, something about ethics). But I am hopping to log some serious time after the Superbowl Sunday night.
Edit: str8dum1 I figure putting wide chisel to it and hitting that with a hammer might do the trick

I don't know how you guys do it. If I had to use a hammer to install a turbo kit I'd be pissed.
Good luck man, sounds like you will need it.
Tools needed to install a TT kit:

CHECK.

a chisel might work
just keep banging til it fits with a good bit of clearance.
Why would you be pissed? There is no denying tubular headers are superior to log manifolds and this is how you fit them. Make a TT kit with shorter pipe lengths and then come back and comment.

I found a picture of the "notch"

thats the same as the GTM notch noted in many of XKR's pics as well
prolly no worse that than the 'pinch' in the SFR intake tubing. rather have a pinch in the intake than a notch in the DP
