Yup, spots I checked said they may have some in a few weeks from when I called but the Z was nearing completion and saw a lot of good reviews on the T1Rs. Figured I'd give them a try.

Sure, what do you want to know? IIRC Dave used two Fluidyne 11x8 coolers for the tranni and the oil cooler. Lemme know if you have any more questions.

You coming to D&V tomorrow..... errrr i mean today?

Update: Took the vehicle to Function Tuned today for Dave to look it over and make sure everything was looking good. 2 miles before getting to Dave's a CEL light came on. Also once on the lift there was two leaks found. Looks like some oil lines are leaking so Dave is replacing them. Also found a fuel line leak that needs to be taken care of. So the Z is going back in on Monday to get some more treatment and plans for future projects

Lil late but will post up the photos I took today with the ones I'll capture at D&V.

T1R's should be fine. Haven't heard of any bad reviews yet .

Thanks, yea I was just wondering what size cooler was used. Went with the GTM oil cooler today. Hopefully it's here by next week!

It appears to be bad oil lines. Dave has ordered new lines and they're due in any day now. The code shouldn't be an issue any more once we throw on the non-foulers. Verdict is still out on the fuel leak. I just took her back yesterday so we'll see. Hoping to have her back this week.

Photo updates coming soon.

So is it just a foul smell then? You would think actual leaking fuel would be fairly simple to track down.

Have been a bit busy with non car related stuff. I have had the Z back, for awhile now and have been enjoying it. I've been trying to upload some photos to Photobucket to show photos of the fixes and where the problems where but Photobucket has put in a new format and the loading is taking forever and they'll only do 3 uploads at a time, which is sucking bawlz.

But to update you, and hopefully I can show you some pics shortly, the fuel leak was real easy to track down. It was just a bi+ch to get too. It was coming in the area of the "Y" block and the fittings on there. The culprit was one of the fittings. Dave and Ken also made new hoses so that the "Y" block was in a better location if needed worked on again. The length of some of the hoses and the angle of the fitting compared to the "Y" block was putting a bunch of pressure on two of the hoses and making longer hoses not only put the "Y" block in a better position but helped take some of the "bending pressure" out of those lines. Ehhhh... it be easier if I could show my pics....

The oil leaks were taken care of with new lines and fittings. Had photos of the new lines and some pics of where the leaking was occuring.

One other issue popped up. The HKS CAMP2 kept resetting and losing the set parameters that we would plug in when we'd turn the car off. Easy fix though. All it needed was rewired so that it was getting constant power so that the memory wouldn't shut down and reset. For Dave and Ken it was taken care of in about 10 minutes.

But I've been enjoying the Z and getting to play with BOOST. I'll try and get some photos of what I'm talking about when PhotoBucket starts to cooperate.

Sorry for the late reply guys.

Was a little busy the last couple weeks. I went and got married

For some reason when you keep modifying your ride while trying to plan a wedding, they think you have your priorities mixed up

She's been running great. The fittings bit big ones. Once the better fittings were put on no more issues. No oil leaks either. The super strong smell was actually the leaky fuel lines. B/C no more super strong smell coming from my Z.

I got photobucket working the way it used to again and will show where some of those problem spots were, now that all the wedding stuff is taken care of.

Here's one more look at my baby:

Picked up some other mods for her too. Will keep the thread updated shortly
