Sucks about your misfortune Ariel. Hope everything will turn out well. By the way, did you try to get in contact with MarblesProduction to see if he actually sold the kit to Daytona?

By the way on may 11th Zcar will have a track event if you want to join. I should be there as well.

I have been contemplating getting a cosworth plenum. For sure get your car dynoed with your kit and other mods and maybe I'll bite the bullet.

Speaking of strut bars... my OEM strut bar won't fit with my HKS SC and the 5/16" plenum spacer. The base of the strut bar on the driver's side will not fit underneath the SC piping. I am gonna have to do some metal grinding and shave it of, or look for another alternative.

All your cars are looking good guys!

Hey kelly350Z,

I had no issues fitting my OEM strut bar an 5/16th spacer and Piping. I mean it's close, but not hitting. I'll get you some photos today.

Yeah, I decided to use the same setup as JohnnyLaw & run it from the intake pipe. As expected though the bigger radiator dow move the can too close to the middle pulley so I'm gonna have to get a smaller bracket made up for it & mount it away from the middle.

All running now though I just need to sort out the squealing accessory belt & put it back together ready for mapping on may 1st

Glad to hear you are running and got the ccan routing setup. I believe my installer bent some kind of bracket to get my ccan to sit above the pulleys. There is some play if you attempt to move around the ccan, but there hasn't been any contact/interference as of yet. I may look for a sturdier way to position/mount the ccan; but dunno if any improvement get readily be made.

I had accesory belt squeal, and my installer resolved it by trying out many different slightly smaller belts before finding the best fit. I have a Ati crank pulley, so i'm not sure how that affected things. But if you are still squealing after tightening, try a slightly smaller belt. I would avoid belt dressing, as most aren't designed for use on serpentine belts..

Awesome work guys!

My kit should arrive soon and i will be installing myself with some mates over a weekend.

Lots of great information here.

I will be making a custom bracket to mount my catch can as our engine bays are soo cramped.

I actually checked out weapon-R and they make some great parts! Even a catch can for the G35, unfortunately not the 350z though.

Hey guys your posts are informative and impressive to say the least. My HKS is also on the way.
I have a Q on the modified blowers, is the smaller pulley the only mod or has GTM carried some internal upgrades as well? I realise that the fuel system is also upgraded i'm just trying to find out about the actual blower.
Thanks in advance and keep up the good work with your Zeds.

Weapon-r stuff is pretty nice, I got the coolant & power steering tanks

Had them sprayed black

Nearly finished now, just a bit of tidying & the belt squeal to sort

Check here for info about RevUp.
https://my350z.com/forum/forced-indu...-price-11.html

I think jonnylaw has a Revup G35 an I have a 350z RevUp.

What I can tell you is If you by a kit to use on your RevUp, you will need some kind of Engine management. The Engine management that comes with this kit is not designed for the RevUp. Your Best bet would be to get GTM’s Tuner Kit Version.

I would also Call GTM Just to be 100% sure.

Thanks for the pics of your strut bar. It is very close. I will take a better look at it and make it fit properly. Thanks

I purchased mine from MVP Motorsports. Speak to Robert! He will do you a great deal.

Definitely cheaper than GTM! And their customer service is the best i have had in the USA to date. (I'm from Australia)

www.mvpmotorsports.com

Infact, i still have not had a reply from GTM when i initially enquired 3 weeks ago!!!! I've since already paid for the kit and awaiting delivery from MVP as we speak.

Got mine from GTM & had a few issues with them not shipping when they were supposed to & also ignoring emails and pms

Tightened all my belts last night, started the car & it ran sweetley - give it a small rev and it cut out & after that it wouldnt start at all Luckily it was just a loose intercooler pipe

Real excited now, goes for tuning on may 1st
